Author’s POV Alpha Derek was breathing heavily when he left the room. As much as he wanted her to suffer, he needed her strong and healthy to reclaim his power, but not until the full moon. The rogue Alpha of the North, that is what they called him. The terror of the Woods, older than all. With his band of rogues, he terrorized packs, stealing, looting, molesting. Just as we dragged our feet to the bed, the Rogues attacked. Rogues werewolves without a pack or an Alpha, and more times than not, they were usually insane. When a wolf leaves their pack or gets banished and no longer has an Alpha to answer to, the effects are often devastating on the health and mental stability of the wolf. Oftentimes, the rogue wolves would assemble in order to raid and wreak havoc, they were usually violent and they killed for the pleasure of it. Without the guidance of a true Alpha, Rogues were considered dangerous outcasts and they were on the fringe of the wolf society. The attack was carried out by a group of rogue wolves who were once part of the amber pack and wanted revenge, which was why they attacked the pack and killed the alpha. For the two days, the triplets and pack warriors searched the woods and mountains surrounding the territory, hunting down the rogue wolves one by one. It was a dangerous and exhausting mission, but the triplets were determined to see it through to the end. Finally, after two intense searches, the triplets and the pack warriors managed to capture the last of the rogue wolves. They didn't spare any of them as they tore them apart limb by limb. It wasn't perfect, heaven knows, but it was a start. I already said it was not perfect right? Naturally, some Alphas choked on their pride when the triplets announced my participation. "A rogue Alpha?" one scoffed, a sneer twisting his face. "That's like putting a fox in charge of the hen house!" A wave of anger washed over me as one particularly pompous Alpha, his fur a shade of brown that reminded me of dirty dishwater, slammed his fist on the table. "There’s a reason why rogues are rogues. They can’t just go and form a pack and have an Alpha" he bellowed, his gaze landing on me with disdain.

All I wanted was to avoid them but these… I looked further down… they weren’t done yet. ‘First Task. The triplets will take you on a tour of Moonstone where you and our pups shall be allowed to get anything of your desire. We wish you luck.’ I looked up and realized that they were done with theirs too, staring at me as if they had been waiting for me to finish. I felt breathing behind my back, the kids were there. They scrambled off when they discovered that I had seen them and returned to their seats, acting like nothing ever happened. I turned back to the Alpha triplets. “I’m not doing this.”

Introduced the alpha and all the alpha’s around were shocked to hear that she was an alpha. “Is that just a pack name or are you really the alpha of rogues, like all the bad apples we throw out of our packs?” asked another alpha not believing what he was hearing. “Yes, the rogue alpha like the bad apples you people throw out, I am one of the rotten ones actually, you can ask my uncle Larry right there from the Rosewood pack, he kicked me out and he knows every well just how bad I can be,” Anita said with a smile looking at Larry.
