It gives him a few seconds before the hounds decide attacking is their best move. They might have gained some newfound intelligence, but Beast is smart and has had years of practice. Our eyes carry bloodlust, our bodies made for killing. Beast's claws rake a wide path across one throat and chest. It's not a killing blow, but the hound lists to the side and the other jumps around him. It's almost like he's protecting the hurt creature. It looked at Mwajuma—a woman of the earth, a human from the world outside the nightmare—and its jaw slavered, a thick string of black saliva falling to the wooden floor.

Yami quickly moved his hands and stretched them, stopping the beast mouth from ripping him apart, as he struggled to keep it open. The beast was stronger than Yami since it's jaw was slowly crushing his hands. Yami jumped up as he entered inside which made the beast mouth close. "It swallowed him!" Kaikuh thought as she tried reading the beasts mind. "I can't hear anything, does that mean this beasts mind can't be read, or is it that it's not thinking" Kaikuh thought. He picked the Ninja girl and dipped his long scary claws into her chest region as he made to rip her heart but a blue lightning dash toward the monster, knocking the monster and saving the Ninja girl from her death.
