The Billionaire's Dangerous Obsession Novels & Stories

Hello my lovely readers. Thank you for giving my book a chance. Constructive criticisms are welcome and in short, believe me when I say I appreciate you all. Hope you enjoy! The Billionaire's Obsession Ciara Mendes As I glanced at the mountain of pending work, I found it impossible to focus on the article I had begun two days prior. With the deadline looming at the end of the week, the pressure was palpable—I knew my boss wouldn't hesitate to hold me accountable if I failed. Beverly Florence, the striking founder of Flare Magazine, was a familiar name in L.A.'s business circles, known not only for her beauty but also for her disingenuous smiles and high-pitched voice that masked the ambitiou

HAZEL "I don't get it. If we're talking about the same criminal then why not just put the suspect behind the bars?" I almost screamed in frustration. No body said anything. Right. I took my jacket and stormed out. What the fuck is wrong with them? Just because the suspect is related to the country's biggest billionaire, we can't let him go. Damn rich people. I fucking hate them. "Hey princess, calm down." I heard the familiar voice. I snapped my head and found Justin walking out with two cups of coffee in his hand.

He slowly backed into the road, this time, he didn’t hit anyone again. “I can’t believe this people,” I said. He looked at me from the side, but said nothing. “Do you know that almost everyone on earth has found out the great billionaire’s son was marrying a nobody? They have a lot to say about it.” He shrugged. “I bet one of those is you’re an insanely beautiful woman,” he said easily.

Mark said, "I can and I will. Unless you pay me. I will doctor this video and put the blame on you." "Oh, oh - okay, how much do you want?" Hazel asked, stuttering. Mark smirked, "A million dollars." Hazel gasped, "A million dollars? That's insane. I don't have that kind of money." Mark said, "You're lying. You're dating the C.E.O of a successful company. You live in a mansion. You wear expensive clothes and jewelry. You have access to his bank accounts and credit cards. You have plenty of money."

If only they knew what he said to her. “Listen, I know I shouldn't have hit him, but he deserved it!” They both stared at her as though she said something ominous. Katrina walked up to her with so much anger in her eyes. “Do you know the guy you hit is the most powerful and influential Mafia billionaire in the whole of Southampton?” At that moment, Paula panicked. She missed her step and staggered backwards. No way, it can't be that she's gotten herself into a deeper trouble.

"Jean St. James -- he's the man that is running against me. He is not oy a political rival, but he has started opening businesses to rival the Hamilton group of industries, and in all our cities too. He has opened a bee farm in Ottawa, a ranch in Texas, he is currently building a hotel just opposite our own here in New York -- the worst thing is, he has the money to do whatever stupid thing catches his fancy. His great aunt just died and left a fortune to him -- a fortune he now wants to squander just to destroy us." "And if I get married to his daughter he'll stop?" "Engaged. If you get engaged and pretend to want to marry his daughter, he promises to stop. He said he just wants to be accep

Watching her stare at the car in horror with her hand wrapped over her chest, I rested my back on the seat and prayed to whatever I believed in that everything tonight turn out right. Just like Chloe had described the Vitale mansion, it was massive and majestic. Tall, royalty-crafted with marble pillars and golden fixtures. A red carpet stretched across the entrance, and rich people, men in tuxedos and women in glittering dresses, walked around in a glamour of wealth.

How I wish he was here to tell me all this was some sick imagination or dream. But ghost doesn't speak. “Who is he?” I asked, my eyes still fixed outside the window. She didn't answer. I didn't expect her to. She even dressed better than I did. “I deserve to know.” A long silence, then, “Was a man with influence, power and money.” “I believe that's not all to tell about him.” She sighed this time, irritated. “He was a billionaire. Cold, private and dangerous, some say.” My breath caught. “Dangerous?”

My body sagged, knees weak. Mia rushed to my side, eyes wide. “Amara, do you even know who that was?” “Some arrogant jerk?” Her jaw dropped. “That was Damian Cruz. The billionaire.” My stomach flipped. My entire life flashed before my eyes. Billionaire? Damian Cruz? As in Cruz Holdings—the man who owned skyscrapers, shipping lines, hotels? Perfect. Just perfect. I hadn’t just ruined someone’s morning. I’d ruined a billionaire’s suit. And maybe my life along with it.

it all clicked into a terrifying picture. Michael Sotheby. The name was a whisper of pure dread in my mind. The city's most notorious billionaire. A man whose ruthlessness in business was legendary, a predator who made Matt look like an amateur. And I was in his bed. A fresh wave of terror, colder and sharper than any I'd felt with Matt, washed over me. I tried to pull away, my movements frantic. I jumped from the frying pan into the fire. A much, much bigger fire.
