Tears on My Gravestone

Tears on My Gravestone

He said the smell of cooking oil on my skin made him sick. One time, I bought myself a birthday cake to celebrate with him. But he threw it straight in the trash just because I'd set it on the floor for a second while unlocking the door. "Trash is where filth belongs, and that's where you belong, too." Then, why did all his rules go out the window when it came to Vivian? My eyes stung. I tilted my head back, blinking hard at the sky to hold back the tears. But then it hit me—the dead couldn't cry. I was a spirit trapped between worlds, maybe because my attachment ran too deep to let me move on.

A Scandal With Mr. Nightwood

A Scandal With Mr. Nightwood

THIRD POV *************** In a lavishing apartment now tainted with one’s blood, Antler was sitting on the ground, hugging his knee, staring into nothingness. His back was against the couch, eyes locked right where Anna died. He had bangs under his eyes, redness due to exhaustion around the corner, yet a single tear refused to escape. “I… love small birds. Larks, especially. They look beautiful. I adore them. When I was a kid, I caged a lark, but it got sad when I kept it with me, so I… let it go.”

The Shambala Chronicles

The Shambala Chronicles

A loud screeching diverted their attention as the flaming red Phoenix soared in the sky above. "Agni!" Shrushaw yelled. The Phoenix settled down next to Toshani's body. It leaned over her chest and started to hum...which was more like screeching. Tears flowed from its eyes wetting her chest. A breath escaped from Toshani's chest and she was suddenly breathing. Rudra had heard of Phoenix's tears having magical properties, this was the first time he saw it. He was grateful that the legend was true. "Thank you Agni," Shrushaw whispered patting the bird's head. It chirped and flew off into the sky.

The young man rubbed his eyes as he walked to the clean water tap. Lillian was still laughing until the Biblue next to her gave a low roar, demanding to be rinsed immediately. The girl filled the bucket with clean water, then poured it on the Biblue until the foam on the bird's body was completely gone. The bird shook its body quickly making water splash everywhere and gave a low roar as if to say thank you. Lillian stroked the large beak of the bird while laughing. Wedding Day Vampire

Wedding Day Vampire

“My tears huh? Well, I don’t really have plenty of that anymore since I stopped crying centuries ago. I saved only a small bottle of it for something special.” Joana looked at Derick, she was unsure of what to ask Yin next that wouldn’t annoy her. Why did you stop crying or, can you give us the only bottle of tears you have left? She didn’t know which one to ask Yin continued speaking. “Dragon tears never dry up and before I stopped crying, my tears would always fill up this cave and would then flow into the lake, that was what gave the cave its name. I had a big pool of tears before, but I gave it all out to vampires who came here in need of vamscren. I reserved a bottle for a special occas

The Pack's Emissary

For a moment, fish and bird battled, and then the bird was dragged below, and the water darkened with blood, turning the downy feathers that drifted on the surface from white to pink. Lyric rose to her feet, her hand pressed to her mouth. “Look away, Mia Persuma Inillium,” Niarthen returned with a parcel of food in one hand and two orbs of the sweet water held by the long-elegant fingers of the other. “Sit back down, and do not look at the water.”

I started reading this series when you were about halfway through The Pack’s Triquetra and I’ve been in love with it ever since. It’s amazingly written and as sad as I will be to see it end, I’m very curious to see the ending :) How often do you post updates?

I have read series-more than once while waiting but have to ask--- why change the covers? The others fit although they could have made Aislen a bit prettier since everyone goes on about how beautiful and Sexy she is she didn't quite fit but all of the new covers are AWFUL! please change!!!!!

Scald Crow

Deep down he knew better, he did not have dreams like this. The brightness began to take form. A powerful clutch of talons gripped him and raised him off the ground. A fierce yellow eye glared at him, and then softened its dour gaze. Warren dared to touch the head of the unidentified beast. Soft downy feathers brushed against his fingers. “What are you?”
