The Blackwell Ghost True Story Novels & Stories

“You requested the expertise of Dr. Luna Hartley of Blackwood Industries. You are receiving it. The individual you may be confusing her with no longer exists.” The words hung, brutal and precise, in the sickroom air. No longer exists. He wasn’t just referring to her changed status. He was invoking the death they had all believed in, the narrative they had accepted. He was telling them the ghost they’d buried was real, and she had come back with an empire at her heels.

Inside, my entire understanding of reality tilted sideways, slowly and dangerously. "Harmony." My voice sounded distant. "What exactly are you telling me?" She held my gaze with no joking, no dramatics, and no exaggeration. There was just honesty, the kind that terrified me. "I'm telling you," she whispered, "that Takoda Blackwell turned into a massive wolf. Bigger than any others I’ve seen." The words settled between us, heavy, permanent, and impossible. And somehow, deep down, they weren’t surprising. Suddenly, dozens of moments over the past few months began rearranging themselves: the speed, the strength, the instincts, the territorial behavior, the way people reacted to him, and the way

“I’m sorry, Ava. I should’ve told you sooner. But I had to hide my real identity… because of you and your family.” My chest tightened. “What do you mean, ‘because of me and my family’? What did we do to you? And how was I involved?” He hesitated, his gaze drifting toward his parents for reassurance. They nodded, urging him to continue. “Alicia… Alicia Blackwell is considered the only Blackwell heir because…” His voice trailed off, as if the words were too heavy to speak. What was he afraid of saying? “Because Liam Blackwell is dead.”

My jaw fell and I gasped, Maura made us cock our head to the side. “This is the pirate ship known as “The Black Ghost.” The story goes that it wrecked here in the 1730’s. It stayed buried in the sea until an earthquake brought it into this cove maybe a hundred years ago. Brought it to its final resting place. I know it sounds crazy but when I first fell upon this land … first stood in that house and saw the beach I fell in love. It was a crazy sense of purpose, like something called me here. I felt it in my bones.

Juliette stepped inside. The door creaked. Dust floated like ghosts in the beam of her flashlight. Then…….. a sound. Footsteps. She turned sharply, light catching a figure. He stepped into view. Older. Eyes sunken. But unmistakably Blackwell. “I knew you’d come,” he said. Juliette’s breath caught. “Who are you?” The man stepped forward, into the circle of light. “My name,” he said slowly, “is Gabriel Rowe Blackwell. And your father wasn’t the only one they tried to silence.” Juliette stared at him, the air gone from her lungs. The truth hadn’t ended with the letter. It was just beginning.

Just a slow, heavy closing-in that made the night feel tighter with every minute. "They're almost in position," he murmured. Good. The adrenaline was kicking in. It was finally happening. They would not be expecting them. Kairos had spent too many years believing his cruelty was a private household matter. He had beaten a hidden Blackwell child and called it discipline. He had murdered her mother and slept peacefully afterward. Men like that never imagined the family they had insulted would come in force. They would be even less prepared for us. I watched the first line of Blackwell wolves break from the treeline opposite the main gate, and even from this distance I understood why kingdoms s

** And beneath her name, a text preview, already popping up like an unwanted party guest: "OMG, Ava! You are NOT going to believe what I just heard about Adrian Blackwell, it's HUGE! Call me back ASAP! I pushed Adrian away and grabbed my phone. I was a bit scared something had happened, so I called her back instantly. She answered screaming. “What happened?” I asked, heart pounding. “Ava! Mr Dave called a board meeting under Blackwell’s name. He demanded to know why you were fired. One director said the project you became famous for was actually Victor’s. They said you stole it over some lovers’ quarrel and kept haunting him even after you knew he was married!” Sarah inhaled like she’d just

"My hands are itching to mark him. I need to bleed someone before I lose my head." Gideon caught his arm, a firm, grounding grip. "You think he’s the third? For real?" "I don't think. I know." Kan’s eyes flashed a toxic, glowing green. "We’ll bring him home. And when we do, we won't be gentle. He’s built for it. He’s a Blackwell ghost, a shadow of the Nash Rebellion. He can take everything we give." Kan walked out the door, the hunt already singing in his veins.

Austin asked, almost not believing what she said "How is you seeing me possible?" She asked, and he rolled his eyes, knowing she made a point. "With everything that happened. Starting with me trying to go back to Boston, then realising I'm a ghost. I went back there and jumped into that empty grave, Trying to kill myself"

A black helicopter lifted into the darkening sky. Inside sat Elena. Adrian. Luca. Dr. Amelia Grant. And a heavily guarded Victor Kane. No one spoke much during the flight. The ocean stretched endlessly below them. After nearly an hour... The pilot's voice came through the headset. "We're approaching Blackwood Island." Everyone looked out the windows. An enormous island emerged from the darkness. Dense forests surrounded towering sea cliffs. At the highest point stood an ancient mansion. The Blackwell Estate. Elegant. Silent.
