I looked at its cover and it was written here, The History of Chicago. Pretty interesting because I already know something about the place I'm stepping on, but I'm so tired right now to read more.

Rosemary’s Pov “I will eat later…” I say softly , offering him a smile. He exchanges a look with Xavier , but I do not stay for the lectures that I know is coming. Instead I walk to the entrance and sit on the floor in a crossed legged position – my eyes fixated on the fiery red flames that almost touches the sky. I sit out there for a while , enjoying the peace of being alone. At this moment , all I ever want is to be alone. I would often feel my stomach kick me with hunger , as my nose smelt the food that was cooking but I easily turned my attention back to the burning kingdom.

With a gentle hug, I put the book down and immediately left for work. At 5:30 I was behind the shop waiting for my employers. I began to think about what happened last night. I was contemplating how a small book could increase in size by itself. The book could talk and give instructions for humans to follow. What amazed me more was the fact that fire of blood could rest in a bowl and the book didn’t burn but when I put my hand I was burning that I could even felt the fire even in my intestines.

After putting my plate in the sink,I decided to retire back in my room.D indra informed me that she will come late perhaps around ten so having no mood to encounter Davian or a Dalliah who must be planning a revenge on me,I grabbed a book titled "Arms and The Man" from Davian's personal library,I made my way to my room. I have work in the morning, at a coffee shop, I’m 21, no college education, and books are my only escape from my sad reality, but I had to find the one book that made me angry tonight. I close my eyes, trying to sleep but Nygeria and Noah keep coming back to my mind. I want to know what happens, but I can’t get with it. Nygeria in the book is way too weak. If it were me, I’d ruin the plot. I drift off to sleep, still thinking of the book Nygeria and Noah.

Zayden As soon as I got done showering, I hurried and dried my body and hair, put on my clothes and walk out the door. I see my little mate sitting in the chair I left her in but with a book in hand.
