His Mail Order Bride

His Mail Order Bride

I smile, turning to look at him as I sit on his lap. "Do what you have to do," I say softly, my fingers gently caressing his warm cheek. The touch of his skin under my fingertips sends a wave of tenderness through me, and I let out a shuddering breath. His eyes hold mine, a mixture of emotions dancing within them.

The Son of Red Fang

I’m only moving a fraction of me right now as anything more would be excruciating to her. “Lilly,” I speak softly as I continue my slow gentle strokes. “I need you to tell me what you need. I will not change the speed or force but I can give you more length if you think it will help.” I can tell she’s concentrating hard, trying to figure this out. “I need more.”

I’m the author of this book and I apologize for not getting on here sooner. This is book one of a four book series. At least I hope to fit Cole’s story into four. After 262 chapters this book had to end and I’m currently working on the next. Return to Crimson Dawn eta June 2023.

It was physically painful to keep reading—but I don't mean that in a negative way. I connected with all of the characters. I loved the book. However, it takes a truly strong mentality to read such traumatic content. I used to consider myself one of those people, but this book shattered my heart.

The Ruthless Billionaire Babysits Me (English)

"Soft. Gentle. Slow." A smile tugged at the corners of Adam's lips as he nodded, his eyes softening. "As you wish." He moved with a deliberate tenderness, his hands caressing my skin with a feather-light touch. Every movement was unhurried, filled with a gentleness that made my breath hitch. He was honoring my request, making sure every moment was exactly what I had asked for.

The Mafia Don's Innocent Love

The Mafia Don's Innocent Love

she whispered, her voice fragile. My response, marked by empathy and a gentle insistence, was a plea to break down the barriers between us. "I might not fully understand, but I want you to share it with me. Amidst all the voices, I want yours." As the distance between us evaporated, Lynda's resolve seemed to waver. Tears blinked away, her voice quivered, "You ask so much..." "Because it's you," I replied, drawing near, our connection strengthening in the face of shared vulnerabilities.

The Sin Between US

“I’m asking you to trust me with a little bit of your heart, even if it’s just a small part. I promise I’ll cherish it, even if we stumble along the way.” The tenderness in his touch and the sincerity in his voice overwhelmed me. I could see the vulnerability in his eyes, the same fear and hope mirrored in my own. I hesitated, my mind a chaotic mix of emotions, but then, in one quiet, electrifying moment, the world seemed to hold its breath.

His Darkest Obsession (Haunted Kings #1)

"Match my pace, darling." Her eyelids flutter open, blinking past a sudden, heavy film of tears. She looks at me, her gaze desperate and searching. "Inhale," I command softly, locking my dark eyes onto hers, giving her a single, unwavering point of gravity to hold onto. I let my hand rest on the bar, just a fraction of an inch from her trembling fingers—close enough to offer my warmth, but strictly respecting the boundary. "Hold it. Now let it out. Good girl."

Mated To My Hated Enemy

Mated To My Hated Enemy

The tender touch sends pleasant shivers down my spine, soothing and arousing all at once. I hesitate, my lip caught between my teeth as the words linger on the tip of my tongue. I yearn for him to share the full story with me, yet I fear pushing him away by pressing too hard. "You know we need to talk about it, right?" I finally muster, my voice barely more than a whisper, tinged with uncertainty.

Speak To Me

“Well then what is causing you to cry and why did Payton say that I’m the reason for it?” She shook her head and an embarrassed expression replaced her sad one. I gently squeezed her hands. It felt so small and soft in my big callous hands. “Babe, relationships last when there’s great communication.” She nodded. Clearing her throat, she lifted her head a bit and fully gave me her attention. “I’m not crying because of you. I just had an insecure moment.” She finished softly at the end. “Insecure moment?” I repeated her words. “I don’t want to talk about it,” she mumbled.

I stumbled upon 'Tender Touch' a while back when I was deep into romance novels, and the name of the author just slipped my mind at first. After some digging, I found out it was written by Lucy Ellis. What struck me about her work was how she blended emotional depth with these vivid, almost cinematic scenes. 'Tender Touch' wasn’t just another fluffy romance—it had this raw honesty about relationships that made it stand out. I ended up binge-reading her other books after that, like 'Midnight Secrets,' which had a similar vibe but with a darker twist.

Ellis has this knack for making her characters feel like real people, flawed and messy but utterly compelling. I remember finishing 'Tender Touch' and just sitting there for a minute, soaking in the ending. It’s rare for a book to leave me that emotionally drained in the best way. If you’re into romance that doesn’t shy away from the complexities of love, her stuff is gold.
