Revenge of the Silver Blood Heiress

Revenge of the Silver Blood Heiress

A ghost who was guiding my hand from beyond the grave. I picked up the book. It was an old copy of The Master and Margarita. My favorite. Our favorite. Of course. I ran my thumb over the embossed cover. This was it. The weapon. The key. I tucked the book and the letter into my jacket and walked out of the vault, my head high. I was halfway across the marble floor of the bank lobby when I saw him.

Dream State

Dream State

It smelled of rank B&O and stale fries. When he got to his feet, he was a little dizzy, but that wasn’t going to stop him. He had found some old books and a few blades stain with what looked like blood. He started digging around on the desk hoping to find something, but he didn’t know what. That is when he came across an old leather-bound book with strange writing across it. He saw the pictures of a crystal cross that had emeralds lined down the middle. Well, that helped Thomas understand why the cross ended up being very important but why did he have a piece of it?

The Stolen Life

The Stolen Life

I thought it was gone forever. "Ives." A glimmer of hope surged in my heart as I reached out my hand. But in the next moment, the stuffed toy flew from his hand, drawing a beautiful arc in the air before landing precisely in the trash bin. "Can I help?" Ivor's face was stern. Hastily, I withdrew my outstretched hand, feeling hard to breathe. When we were 18, he had said, "Even if I lost my life, I'd never lose this toy."

The Luck Thieves

The Luck Thieves

I took the locket; its cool weight and fine craftsmanship spoke of generations. He tried to speak, his eyes desperate, but could only stammer. I leaned in close, reading the frantic plea in his gaze. "Dad, you want me to say it, don't you? That you'll get better soon?" I examined the locket in my palm. "Don't worry. Now that I have something of yours, I'll be kind." I tucked the blanket neatly around him and whispered into his ear, "Don't worry. You will get better." When his expression brightened with a flicker of hope, I added, my tone dropping to a calm, chilling murmur, "I know your secret. I know how you borrow luck."

The Dragon Prince's Thief

The Dragon Prince's Thief

"Maybe Orna used some kind of magic to make you forget." "Maybe. But I remember the story now. I remember Orna telling me that new things start from destruction. She was obsessed with that book. It had a dark brown leather cover that looked like it was a dragon's skin. It was different than the normal books. She always carried it with her and sometimes she read it to me. Only to me," I said as I remembered the nights she read stories to me. I was besotted with Orna. She was my cool aunt. I loved her and I was sure she loved me. Maybe she never did. "I was small. I was around seven or eight. The same age as Lili when she started reading the book to me. It was interesting. She would tell the s

Vera and Mateo are my OTP. Books should have men like Mateo. No abuse, no Rejection and no weak characters that makes you want to stop. Every page is filled with flirty banters, sweet and steamy moments and mystery that unfolds throughout the book. This book shouldn't be missed. something different.

Another great book from one of my favourite authors. You can't help but fall in love with Vera and Mateo. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the banter between characters will have you coming back for more.

Accidental Bibliophiles

Accidental Bibliophiles

We head back towards the house and he bumps into my leg repeatedly, trying to get me to turn around. "Stop trying to herd me. I'm not a sheep." I tell him firmly, tossing him a treat as I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth before bed. I lay down, thinking about the book as I stare at my ceiling. Basil jumps on the bed, spinning a few times before he lays down next to me. I run my fingers through his fur absentmindedly, my brain refusing to stop spinning as I think about the first few pages of the book. It started out with the beginning stages of a war, the main character building an army of werewolves to defeat their arch nemesis.

Protected by the Devil

Protected by the Devil

As if he realized what I was thinking now, in his desolate and weeful image, holding the body of the woman who could never be yours. There was a slight stamp, and my arms were released from that mass of melted stone that the tomb seemed to have become, and I turned my eyes to the tomb that crawled alone to the side, revealing a book with a golden and red cover and with words in a foreign language engraved on the page itself. I took the book and walked away, feeling my head heavy and my eyes wet by the tears that undoubtedly rolled down my face. Lilith was still there, standing in front of the tomb, but now she smiled slightly and her blond hair flowed around her as if a ghost wind hit her.

Once Divorced, Twice Desired

Once Divorced, Twice Desired

She went back down the secret room tracing her steps back to what she tripped on on her first arrival. When she raised the lid, she realized her guess was right. It was indeed a metal vault embedded on the floor. Curiosity outweighed fear, and she’d pressed her thumb against the scanner. Click. Inside was a small leather-bound book wrapped tightly in a black cloth. She had unwrapped it. Inside was a hardcover book with a title clearly ascribed to the front in gold ink; The Book of Life and Death. Her breath caught, “What the hell?” She muttered underneath her breath.

The Secret Whisperer

she said, her voice steady. The librarian looked at the form, then at Leila. Her face darkened, her lips curling into a frown that could sour milk. "We don’t have that book anymore. It was stolen." Leila raised an eyebrow. “Stolen? From a library?” The librarian nodded, her expression as flat as week-old coffee. “People are like that. No respect for books anymore.” Leila gave a tight-lipped frown, but her mind was racing. Stolen? Someone had come here and taken Yellen’s work. Not just borrowed—stolen. She had to find out why, but not here. Not now.

Contractually Yours, Alpha

Contractually Yours, Alpha

“That must be the maid. It’s lunch time. .... Thane should be back by now, and I was getting worried. Axel was gone too, as it was already late. I spotted the book Barbara’s Fantasies on the table where I had kept it last. I couldn’t help the rush of embarrassment that filled me as I recalled Thane reading a very disturbing passage of the book to me. I had regretted ever bringing it here; of course he would find out; there was no hiding anything from Thane. I picked up the book and headed to the waste bin. I discarded it. I stared at the book laying there in the bin; it seemed to be calling to me. I had taken it from the library; the least I could do was return it back there, right? I picked

Wow! Just wow! I could hardly put this book down! I wasn’t sure how fast I could read over 600 chapters but I did do it quite quickly considering my reluctance in taking breaks. Highly recommend reading this!

I loved this book so much. I had so many emotional moments, laughing, crying, happy, sad and scared. I couldn't put it down. I just wish that Axel had lived and found his own mate and that Thane and Riley were blessed by the goddess and became real mates.
