The Daughter Erased

The Daughter Erased

] Some even told me not to save Summer. [She doesn't deserve your goodwill!] Seeing the comments, Summer went utterly unhinged, screaming and thrashing around the hospital room. The police and HR department from work arrived at her room. Seeing them, Summer yelled with widened eyes, "What are you doing here? Are you here to arrest me?" My parents immediately stood in front of Summer, protecting her. "You can't take away our daughter. She did nothing wrong. This was all our doing. We did this." "No. It was Sienna. She pretended to be Summer. The job belonged to Summer."

The Daughter Of The Moon

The Daughter Of The Moon

Ayla was blonde, a blonde so light it looked like silver in the sun. But they talked about a woman as well, but I don’t remember ever meeting Alex and Asher's mother. And to ask about her was out of the question. I made a mental note to talk with my parents when we got home. Could Ayla be related to Alpha Adam? Is she a daughter from the Blue Moon Pack? But why would a man like Adam send his daughter away? What could have been so wrong for him to have to? Or is all this just my imagination?

Reborn Luna

Reborn Luna

Nothing about it felt right. When the old woman met my eyes, there was a fire so hot I could feel it against my skin.“No one could tell me what happened to my daughter. They said it was rouges. But the wind whispers, and the water holds memory. And when I stepped into that pond with my daughter's body ready to send her to the goddess, Nightshade was the only name I heard.” My wolf stores inside my chest, and a rock rolls in the pit of my stomach. The queen.

Untamed Desires (A Collection of short Stories)

Untamed Desires (A Collection of short Stories)

She poured herself another glass of cheap red, already on her third, and dropped onto the couch in her pencil skirt and blouse, buttons half undone. The city lights through the rain-streaked windows. Her laptop was still open on the coffee table, case files glowing like accusatory little rectangles. She should sleep. Instead she reached for the dusty old book she’d bought on a drunken whim two years ago at that weird occult shop downtown. *Daemonologie for the Modern Woman.* Stupid. But tonight it felt like the right kind of stupid. She flipped it open, scanned a page at random, and slurred the words under her breath. Latin? Probably, didn’t matter.

The Mafia's Daughter

The Mafia's Daughter

, i turned to see another man, he was more calm than the one that was busy shouting, I faced him and asked; "please where's my daughter?" "I already told you she's safe didn't I?" I didn't say anything else and scanned the room, I was in a dark empty room, sitting on the cold floor with tight ropes on my hands and legs. "I think we've been kidnapped, I thought, hoping my daughter was alright". I turned my head to face the calm man and asked, "please what do you want, I will give you anything you want, just let I and my daughter go". He chuckled and said "all I want is for you to tell me where your husband is"

Defending My Daughter

Defending My Daughter

"Everyone, come take a look! This is the woman who incited her daughter to harm herself for money! She lost her job and her daughter was expelled, yet she's still hanging around! No wonder her man left her. A woman like her brings nothing but bad luck!" She grew more animated, now stepping forward to point at my daughter. "And this little liar! Raised without a father, she's already lying and cheating at such a young age! She's only gonna get worse when she grows up! I think she should be sent to juvenile prison!" "Shut your mouth!" My blood boiled, and I yelled. "I'll say what I want!" She put her hands on her hips. "If you don't want people to talk about it, don't do it, crazy woman! And t

Pleasant
I love this book already. I kept smiling and laughing out loud. Andrew what a sweetie pie. Andrew is most certainly a gentleman and most certainly sincere for now. I will continue to read. This book is not like the others I’ve read in the last four weeks since I found out about the Good Novel....️...️...️

Enjoyed this book a lot! Andrew and Kenzie as a pair never fails to crack me up with their pick up lines and banter. Like your other books, this is equally hilarious, has a good amount of drama, and also some life lessons. A great read and a good start for the Wright kids and their stories!

The Wife's Reckoning

The Wife's Reckoning

"And unfortunately, you also have some very expensive enemies." I looked up, my chest tightening. "The Lang family?" Renata nodded heavily. "Enormously wealthy. Deeply entrenched in local politics. They fund political campaigns, hospital wings, and major charities. If this turn ugly—and trust me, these things always do—they will use every resource at their disposal to protect their daughter." "Daughter," I repeated quietly. Sophia. Twenty-eight years old, unmarried, and currently carrying my husband's child. The word tasted like ash in my mouth, still refusing to feel real even as I forced myself to say it aloud.

Her One True Mate

Her One True Mate

the man enthused and my lips parted in shock Deaths? As in plural? I blinked severally while I heard the woman begin to cry quietly I couldn't really make sense of the conversation but it seemed like their daughter killed a bunch of people or something like that "Oh Tony" the woman continued to cry "Our poor daughter, I wonder where she is right now. If she's safe and has a roof over her head, if she's eating and sleeping well. Gosh, she probably thinks we hate her" "Well, it's not like we're proud of her either" the man muttered as the woman broke down in sobs
