Girl Crush

Girl Crush

After a quick shower, I curled up into the most fantastic cocoon of slumber imaginable. I'd just shut my eyes when the knock on the door came, and Brutus was back. "We need to go. Get up." There was no way it was morning already, but sure enough, the sun shone through the blinds I hadn't closed, and apparently, Beck's brother wasn't much of a morning person.

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Part of me wondered if it was something that Matt was interested in or if it had been some strange sort of gift to Felix. If he wasn’t making enough money at night from wild parties and pulsing music, Club Heaven was open during the day as an upscale brunch, lunch, and dinner restaurant. The poles and water cages were hidden away and without the fluorescent and black lights, the space looked open and airy. Within a few days, it had become a hit among the upper class of Midnight. From what Owen told me about bussing tables and listening to the people eating, a lot of people were excited about having wholesome brunches in the same space that they had spent the night getting hot and sweaty in.

It’s not for everyone because of the dark parts of the story but I couldn’t stop reading it after getting over some parts that made my skin crawl & cringe. There were some incomplete sentences which were annoying. Thought it could be longer to make it more complete at the end.

Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Jane prompted as if waiting for a brilliant name, but brilliant names don't come easily for them. "Loser Club!" Emily grinned. "You know like the 'Breakfast Club', or something like that." "Do people have to eat breakfast together to be a member though?" Jane wondered, getting distracted. "I don't know, I just heard about it somewhere, so I stole the concept," Emily said with a shrug. "So I'll be the president, and you can be the vice president. Well...unless you want to be the president?" "Nah." Jane shook her head. "The club was your idea."

Wrong Way Up

Wrong Way Up

That was the last thought in my head before sleep finally came, and my mind finally quieted down for a little while. Soon the kids were getting up and moving about. I picked myself up off the couch and decided to make pancakes for breakfast. I was lucky that I did not have to work until later. I spent the morning with the kids over breakfast and catching up with the drama they had over their friends. School cliques have not changed one iota in years. As we curled up to watch movies my phone pinged letting me know I had a text message. Hey beautiful had a great time last night. I wish you would have stayed would have loved to eat breakfast off of you. How are you feeling?

There's a phrase, right in the initial chapters, where Noel says she is not old, but is too old to start again. That really got to me, because even now we are taught that. We need more diversity in our female characters, so thanks for writing this.

I absolutely love this book, It has so much depth and it's not all sunshine and roses which makes It that much more real. Hoping it will be finished soon! And if it's by any chance based on a true story, Noel is strong and amazing and worthy of love and happiness, hope she never believes otherwise!

Breaking you

Breaking you

"Robyn Thomasine Hachi! You better wake up now! She sat up heart racing."You know, just because you know my full name doesn't mean you can annoyingly wake me up Layla!" She shouted. "Yeah yeah yeah. Get up and take a shower it's after five." "'Really?" "Yes really." "We have to get ready!" They got ready and by ten minutes after six, Tristan had arrived with a friend. They bought food on the way and ate. They arrived at the club and it was already almost full. They got to the bar and ordered drinks.

Playing Pretend With The Mafia Hockey Star

Playing Pretend With The Mafia Hockey Star

“Dominic made breakfast. If you don't come out in five minutes, he’s going to eat your portion. He has the appetite of a horse and zero boundaries.” I cleared my throat, trying to shake off the morning rasp. “I’m awake! Give me ten minutes.” “Copy that. Don’t take too long, the eggs are actually edible today.” His footsteps faded down the hallway. I sat up on the edge of the mattress, running my hands over my face. It felt bizarre..the whole situation felt completely surreal. Mafia heirs cooked breakfast? I had spent years reading legal case files about organized crime syndicates, and none of them mentioned international hockey stars and professional basketball players flipping pancakes in a

THE ICE WE BREAK :Fake dating the ice king

THE ICE WE BREAK :Fake dating the ice king

“And I’m the one being robbed.” A knock cut through the quiet. Not polite. Sharp. Measured. “Get dressed, Ellison.” Leo’s voice came through the connecting door, low and already irritated, as the day had personally offended him. “We’re doing a ‘candid’ breakfast. Thirty minutes.” Of course we were. I pushed myself out of bed, the cold floor biting at my feet. Somewhere between last night and now, this had stopped feeling temporary. The contract sat in my bag like a ticking clock.

The Meal Before Everything

The Meal Before Everything

That night, I bled out and died. Haunted by the agony of my previous life, I pushed down the fury and put on a grin. "Janet, go ahead and cook your signature dish! That'll up your chances to be the rich dude's wife." Our mother, Fiona Walker, seemed unsure. "I've heard that Indoria folks don't do beef. Christina, you're the brainy one in the family, what's your take?" Before I could answer, Janet shot me a death glare. "Indoria's a beef-exporting powerhouse! There's no way they don't eat it. I saw a bunch of cows at the rich guy's place. They're definitely for chowing down! Don't bother Christina with that stuff. Remember, she's my rival now."

Another positive thing about working at the club was that she barely had to purchase groceries because breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served at the club and were an employee perk, along with free use of all of the facilities, including the gym. Arianna leisurely showered and thoroughly moisturized her skin with her body oil. She threw on an oversized t-shirt and didn’t bother with panties because she knew she would touch herself before falling asleep. “Let’s see who we got here, Legs,” Arianna sighed, bouncing onto the bed. “Mr. London, Mr. Jameson, and Mr. White. Hopefully, they’re more impressive than their names.”
