The Cabin In The Woods の小説・ストーリー

The promise of a long weekend, courtesy of a fortuitous Thursday and Friday public holiday, had lured Athena, Cindy, and Megan to a secluded cabin nestled deep within the whispering woods. The city's relentless hum had faded into a distant memory, replaced by the gentle rustle of leaves and the occasional chirp of unseen birds. This was their sanctuary, a place to unwind, reconnect, and simply breathe. The cabin, a rustic yet charming structure, exuded a sense of warmth and welcome.

She walked for a long time before she appeared in the woods where there was a cabin. She hurried into it and shut the door tightly behind her. The room was scanty. The old fashioned cushions blended perfectly with the ancient rug on the floor. She made her way to the table at the side of the room and turned on the lantern. The light illuminated the materials on it; an iPad, a burner home, a router, a telephone and a computer. The cabin was deep in the woods, so it was no surprise her phone had no network. Moreover, Cheyenne was hoping she'd come across a werewolf. Any werewolf.

Nestled in a secluded clearing, embraced by the towering and ancient pines that stood like watchful sentinels, a rustic cabin exuded an old-world charm. Appearing as though it had grown naturally from the forest floor, the cabin's wooden exterior bore the marks of time, weathered by the seasons yet retaining an elegance that mirrored the tranquility of the wilderness. Shadows played along the path that led to the front door, hinting at the secrets contained within.

A fucking big risk. There was an abandoned cabin out there in the woods. It was nothing but a crumbling wreck of rotten wood and rusted zinc now, a perfect habitat for spiders and other tiny insects. But the cabin didn't fail to bring back memories of when Max, Ryder and I used to play a lot of games there as little kids. That was my rendezvous point with Samantha. It laid out in an open space in the woods, but the mist and that covered the area at night would help with hiding sneaking in and out.

We’ve been hunted before; I will not dismiss these instincts. We finally arrive at the cabin, a quaint little house nestled deep in the woods. It’s secluded, surrounded by dense trees that offer a semblance of protection. As I step out of the car, the cold night air hits me, sharp and biting. I scan the area; my senses are heightened, but everything seems quiet. Too quiet.

"You think this is enough? You think a few bandages will fix this mess?" "Dad, that's enough!" I snapped. "They did everything they could." "Get the fuck off the property, the both of you. You can use the cabin, but I can't be this close to you right now," he spat. The cabin. It was located on the other side of the territory, fifty miles north, in the dense woods that had spilled over from the nature preserve. It was secluded, peaceful. Very little to no cell reception. It was perfect.

A girl who needs my help. And I'm going to give it to her. I reach my cabin, a small, rustic structure hidden deep in the forest. It's secluded, far from the prying eyes of my pack. I built it myself, a place to escape to when I need to be alone. A place to think, to plan, to strategize. A place to hide. The interior of the cabin is dimly lit, the only light coming from the moonlight filtering through a small window. It casts a soft glow on the wooden walls, creating shadows that dance and flicker.

We haven’t talked about any of this—no conversations about family or past beyond the story about his friend who almost killed him. I rub my shoulders with a sigh and decide to leave the room. I open the door and pause at the entrance. A gentle breeze brushes against my skin, carrying the fresh scent of pine and damp earth. A small smile plays on my lips as I inhale deeply. Birds chirp in perfect harmony from somewhere nearby, and the faint roar of a waterfall echoes in the distance. This cabin is nestled deep in the heart of a forest—a forest so beautiful it feels almost unreal, like something out of a dream.

I envy her. The cabin is deep in the woods, surrounded by old-growth pines and fog. It’s the kind of place no GPS would ever find, with no neighbors and no cell service. Which is exactly what we need. Inside, it’s simple. Clean. Stocked with enough canned food and bottled water to last months. There’s a generator out back and a battery-powered radio crackling with static. Emma moves with military precision, checking the perimeter, resetting the tripwires, reinforcing the locks.

he said sharply. Ouch. We didn’t talk again until the cabin came into view. It sat alone in the dry, dusty clearing at the end of the mountain, built from thick dark wood, with symbols carved deep into the walls. And there stood the witch. I was surprised to see a man. I had thought it was a woman. He stood just outside the cabin, hands clasped in front of him, his long dark robe blowing slightly in the wind. His eyes were bright green, and the moment he looked at me, I felt like he saw right through my skin.
