Damned Straight to Heaven

Damned Straight to Heaven

“I thought it would end with him. It wasn’t even entirely about revenge. I was trying to help them, free them… I should have never taken charge.” “‘Saint Christian was pulled from the river, and the good woman wept, for the boy was surely dead,” I quote our scriptures. “She laid him out in the chapel to rest, and miraculously – he awoke: a vessel of the divine itself, returned to spread His message.’” “Do desist with the hackneyed verse,” he groans, burying his face in the pillow. “That legend is entirely embellished nonsense.” “Why’d they think an undead demon was a saint?”

The Kind of Obedience That Bleeds

The Kind of Obedience That Bleeds

Or maybe… even Mom and Dad…" I leaned slightly closer to her and asked softly, "One second they're holding me and crying, but the next second, even after seeing everything Eric did, they still stand by and watch because they're afraid I'm acting. They even think I'm sick and brought you here… Doesn't that count as bullying either?" I stared at her. "Doctor, disobedient people die. I used to have several companions just like me. But now they're all gone. Because they weren't obedient enough… they were beaten to death."

The Christmas Contract

The Christmas Contract

“Jesus. Okay, rich people do one thing right.” “I’ll take the compliment,” he said. When she opened her eyes, he was watching her. And for the first time, she saw something softer beneath the arrogance. Something almost weary. His expression grew serious. “I have a job for you.” She blinked. “A job? I mean, yes, I’d love that.” “Not a pastry job.” She frowned. “Okay… then what kind of job?” He took a breath, straightening slightly. “I’m traveling home for Christmas next week,” he said. “My parents… they’ve been pressuring me to bring someone home. More specifically, my father. He’s retiring next year. And he’s planning to hand over his company if I meet one condition.”

Casey suddenly narrowed his eyes and insinuated by saying, “Of course, some things are still redeemable. If you’re willing to make the sacrifice, there’s still hope…” Christine’s expression turned solemn upon hearing that. She glared at him in rage.

I'm In Love With A Plus Size Girl

I'm In Love With A Plus Size Girl

Sophia replied "Even when they're wrong?" Jennifer asked "Especially when they're wrong" Sophia replied "Yea,that's what parents do" "Yea,but I'm glad that you understand why I'm no longer religious" "That's because I was never religious myself. I just believe in God and Christ but all that Christianity is not for me" "I still never read in the bible where it says that Christ came up with any religion. We're supposed to be Christ like and he never done any religion in the bible"

Riley grinned, showing his teeth. Mr Johnston's frown deepened as he dropped his arm back to his side. "What?" "Hmm, you believe in God, right?" Felix asked. His hand shot out with the speed of a cobra, grabbing at the rosary hanging from the gangster's neck. When he started to speak in Latin, the gun-toting hard man literally shuddered. "Damien Cross," Riley prompted. "You know? The politician? The lefties call him the Anti-Christ because of his name and his hard-right policies."

Thanks so much for the update! I love this book and I wanna see Adam and Riley live happy together. I want Riley to make sure what Jamie did was awful to her own sister, I mean you just don’t do that to her and ruin her own life just cause his life sucked. Adam should also feel bad and have to beg.

I couldn't put this down from the beginning of the first book. I love the way you have all the characters connected and I got more impressed with the amount of talent put into this as the story goes on. I can't wait to see what happens when Adam and Riley find her!

Breathless

Christian also sitting with them. "So this is the song I wrote a while back. Tell me how is it. It's called 'Kill em with kindness'." I take a deep breath and begin to play. 🎶The world can be a nasty place, you know it, I know it, yeah. 🎶 I glanced at Christian who had an unknown emotion on his face. 🎶See we don't have to fall from grace🎶 I see the children looking at me in awe. 🎶 Put down the weapons you fight with and kill em with Kindness, kill em with kindness, Kill em with kindness. 🎶

Sanctified Sin

Sanctified Sin

“Callum.” She stared at it. Then back at him. “I didn’t come here to be saved.” His smile didn’t waver. “Good. I’m not the saving kind.” She let out a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding. “You ever burn a Bible, Callum?” He raised an eyebrow. “Pages, yes. Covers take longer.” Eden’s laugh was unexpected. From the belly. From somewhere older than her pain. “I’ve got one in my trunk,” she said. “Leather-bound. Stained in all the right places.”

IN THE CAPO'S BED

IN THE CAPO'S BED

I swallowed hard. When Casey pulled out of the embrace, she looked me in the eyes. "We are allowed to feel the way we desired. That doesn't mean you aren't affected by what's going on. We are different and certainly our feelings would surely be. Don't beat up yourself too much about this and no one is judging you. No one dares judge you," Casey narrowed her eyes at Christie who raised her hands in surrender. "I swear, I wasn't." I laughed lightly at the swiftness of how Christie said it.
