The Clubhouse Floated Away Novels & Stories

Mason We rolled up to the clubhouse an hour after the hit went down. Burke and Clinton were still back at the scene, cleaning up what they could and gathering up their boy’s body while we went back to secure the drugs and the cash. I followed the others back into the clubhouse. Phoenix headed straight back toward his office, carrying the cash, while Noble and Dow took the drugs back to the secure locker. Ford looked at me and grinned. “Looks like our girls are chatting.” I followed his gaze and saw Caralee sitting with Leilani. Caralee looked up and smiled as Ford began to head over.

Kenzo quickly grabbed his table napkin and was about to wipe it off, but someone suddenly pulled me away, and before I knew it, we were on the second floor of the clubhouse. There was no one here because the guests were either inside the clubhouse or playing golf on the golf course in front of it. The entire clubhouse was brightly lit, making it easy for guests to play golf since it wasn't dark. "Kent, what the hell?!" I yelled at Kent as he stopped pulling me and held my hand. I tried to push him away, but I was just wasting my strength. I couldn't move him. Instead, he moved closer to me, and I found myself stepping back until my back hit the flower boxes of the clubhouse. It was dark in t

Instead, he went to the meeting point with his people. The location was at a discreet clubhouse on a lake. It was a rather unique place to have a clubhouse, and the scenery was beautiful. The only way to get to the clubhouse was by an exclusive speedboat. The speedboat could not accommodate a lot of people, so Edmund could not bring the whole team along. Edmund could tell that Cassey was paranoid. However, he did not mind. It did not matter to Edmund because he was well-prepared. Cassey was likely to form an alliance, so he would not want to upset Edmund.

LaRosa rushed, spotting the obvious. “He was last seen entering here” Gina echoed, pointing at a luxurious looking building which evidently sashayed itself to be a clubhouse. “Club Erebus” She continued, calling out its name. “This is where things get interesting” She said, dragging her hands through the texture of the pictures and paper as though in search of something. Then she paused on a particular picture. “Lil Joe” Marco and I echoed simultaneously, looking over the picture which showed Lil Joe coming out of the Club.

“Only if you fight it.” The ride was loud and cold. Nova kept her hands on Kane’s jacket as lightly as she could, but the speed forced her closer than she wanted. By the time they turned off the main stretch and onto a private road, her legs were stiff and her nerves were wound tight. The clubhouse sat at the end of the road, a wide two-story building with bikes lined up outside and low lights glowing from the windows. Music thumped faintly from inside. Kane parked first. Jax and Reed pulled in beside him.

His eyes narrowed. I was surprised to see him still ready in an office suit, even though it was a holiday today. We were having our breakfast, and suddenly the news airing on the television grabbed my attention. “Five drunk men returning from the Longue 18 club met with a deadly accident. Their car struck the bridge and fell into the river. The rescue department had identified their bodies and they are named as Mathew, Billy..” The spoon remained in my hand when their dead faces flashed on the screen. My heart trembled to see they were the same people who tried to harass me in the basement of the club.

Furrowing his brows, he turned to leave Hart Group to enter his car before driving off to Wilson Golf Club. … The clubhouse was more crowded during the day compared to the night. Although the interior of the clubhouse was spacious and equipped with a separate entertainment area, it couldn’t compare to its outdoor land resources. When Cameron arrived at the clubhouse, Sean had already arrived. Sitting in a corner, there was a glass of red wine in front of Sean. Cameron wasn’t sure what he had on his mind, as he was wearing a glum look on his face. When Cameron approached him, Sean merely lifted his gaze before greeting him aloofly, “You’re here.”

Miles POV “Okay. You’ve got this, Miles.” I muttered under my breath and brushed off my jacket. I took another glance at the signpost and then marched into the clubhouse. I’ve never been this depressed since the switch happened. I’m so bored to death that I decided to storm VISTAS, the clubhouse. I made my way into the building and walked past the crowded people. Disco lights were shining around the room as music blasted through the speakers. The room was crowded and no one seemed to mind. People danced, drank, and flirted.

And I would be right here waiting. Time blurred after Luca and Hovak left for Joplin. One moment I was sitting at the dining table with Declan, trying to force down a few bites of Mama Red’s stew…and the next, the clubhouse doors burst open. Voices. Boots. The rumble of wheels. They were here.

The stern buckled, the plastic bubbling into a black, sticky tar that hissed as the water ate it whole. Saskia scrambled up the ramp on all fours, hyperventilating, her throat burning from the sour fumes drifting off the water. They lay on the cold stone floor of the garage, gasping for clean air, watching their boat dissolve into a floating puddle of oil fifty feet below them. They were alive, but they were stranded on the bare rock, two miles from the top of the ridge, with nothing left but the bag in James’s hand. From the high balcony of Unit 30A, Betony watched the wave hit the base of the mountain.
