When we finally pulled up to the clubhouse, the prez stormed out, anger clearly written across his face. "Where the fuck have you two been? Do you know how long I've been calling you?"
I dismounted and faced him. "We needed to clear our heads," I said, trying to keep my tone neutral.
"Clear your heads?" he snapped. "We've got a situation here, and you decide to take a fucking joyride?"
