“Do you see what you’ve done to me?”
I gasped, unable to breathe under the weight of him—his love, his fury, his need. My thighs pressed together instinctively, my body betraying me even through fear.
Alex caught it, of course he did. His smile turned cruel, knowing.
“So this is your punishment, Angel,” he said, voice dropping lower, more dangerous. “I’ll keep you right here, trembling. I’ll make you crave me until you’re begging, and I won’t give you the release you want. Not until I decide. Not until you understand what it means to break my trust. You’ll squirm, you’ll ache, and you’ll remember that the only one who owns you—every breath, every tear, every heartbeat—is me.”
