She has long wavy brown hair, the same colour as Brett’s, that is styled into a side ponytail. She gives me a once over before turning back to my Mum.

“No luck.” She shook her head and wrapped me in a hug. “They are stubborn as hell. But they will see reason. Logan will come to his senses. He will realize you are what he needs. Not that bitch, Sienna.” I laughed at Luna Gloria calling Sienna a bitch. She was always so calm and collected. It was necessary. She was a Luna. Calling someone a bitch was totally not a Luna thing. But it was nice to know that she agreed with me. Sienna really was a bitch.

Not even Connor had ever used his aura so forcefully against her. “I am the Luna,” Selene says coldly, her voice sharper than ever, “and while my mate is unconscious, I am the highest authority in this pack. Everyone, including you, Mrs. Carlaaaaa…” She deliberately drags out the syllables, mocking her. “…will obey me. If not, I’ll have you thrown into the dungeon. And as for you”, she turns and points at Inés, “step foot in this pack one more time, and I’ll rip your head off along with anyone who dares help you.” A collective gasp ripples through the crowd gathered nearby.
