The Devil Takes You Home Novels & Stories

“You’re a clever one, Natalie. I’ll give you that. You couldn't just trust me! No! it'd cost you too much. It would mean you'd have to believe me, it would mean the life you know has always been a lie. It would mean bringing you out of your comfort zone and that isn't what you'd want is it? It would be too much for you to handle that's why making me to be the devil was so so much easier than accepting the truth. You play the innocent, the victim, all while sharpening your knives in the dark. “I am a victim!” she cried, her voice rising, desperation lacing her tone. “You bought me! You keep me here against my will! What do you expect me to do, just sit back and be grateful?”

He leaned forward, “Go on, my son.” “When I was in high school, I ran away from home to form a band in California. After a year we found ourselves broke, about to be evicted and released from the contract we had managed to secure. Miles, the singer, was obsessed with the occult and at the time I figured it was a bunch of bull—well fairy tales.” He caught the slip and cleared his throat. “So one night, at a show in Mississippi, he talked us into going down to the crossroads and making a deal with the devil.”

name:- if we have the plan to kill you then we would have talked properly to you guys in the first place, he talking about his death. the game starts demon says, he was in the hospital and his mother was taking her last breath. demon:- when is Dad going to come home, he should have come to see you, why he is taking so long? Mother:- what are you drawing, let me, so it's a family picture, do you know I have talked to your father, and look devil is calling me, so I have to go, your father going to take you with him, the devil was alone in hell he needs me.

He firmly said, "And if you are done, tell me I will take you home." I scoffed. I am not sure whether I am done or not but I cannot enjoy this in his presence anymore. The show was almost over and I was tired too. So, I bid everyone goodbye and followed him out of the bar. He drove me home but didn't say a word to me all the way. However, when I was about to get out of his car, his words halted my movements, "I am not saying anything because you deserved to have fun but Ana this is the last time. When you become a Weaver, you better not have any thoughts other than your husband."

“But you still haven't answered my question. What the hell are you doing here, in this goddamn hellhole?” Roman laughed softly, a deep, low sound that sent a shiver down her spine. “What did you say?” He leaned slightly over the table, resting his forearms on it, watching her with that damn intensity of his. “Aylin, I am the Devil... and hell is my home.” The air between them became suffocating, electric, dangerous. She pressed her lips together, feeling an invisible pressure in her chest. He was still there, staring at her with terrifying calm, as if he truly owned every last corner of this damn place.

“Return to the world of men. Forget the blood. Forget the beast.” I reached for the obsidian stone. It was burning against my skin, but I didn’t pull away. I closed my eyes and stopped fighting the images. Instead, I dove into them. I didn’t look at the cellar as a prison; I looked at it as the place where I first felt the spark of the Devil. I didn’t look at the silver as pain; I looked at it as the price I paid to save my mate. I found the memory of Girard’s touch in the study—the way his hands had claimed me, the way his soul had recognized mine before his mind even knew my name.

The devil is evil; he will try and trick me “Uh Ah, now, now we don’t want that kind of thinking do we, I’ve introduced myself, very politely actually and seeing that we have had this converstaion a million times before, i I haven’t ripped you apart, even though I do at times hate you. I’m here to offer you a deal. Well more to the truth, you can’t get out of it, but I always like to promote a bit of choice.”

Their dad requested Devon come home. Devon gets an unexpected call from Evan and Mina one day while he was in a business meeting with his staff. He learns that their father has fallen gravely ill and is in ICU. He returns home to see his father and the family. But Devon has all intentions of returning back to Chicago. He's only planning to be here a few days. Until he gets the requests from Evan and his father to stay and help run the business until dad gets well. Devon reluctantly agrees, but for the love of his younger brother he remains.

I feel like I need her to understand why I did what I did. “Did you ever think he needed the money? Maybe he was poor and had a family?” “Generally, anyone who comes to me needs money. It doesn’t matter what it’s for, Katie. If you make a deal with the devil for your soul and lose, he will take it. Well, in this case, I’m the devil. They made the deal, I was just following through with the soul taking part.” Her nose tips up, and her eyes grow with a fire that makes my dick ache.

Then he pulled a letter from his desk and handed it to me. I read it, my blood running cold. The words were sharp and cruel, filled with hatred and threats. I could feel the venom dripping from every sentence. To the Devil of Vercelli, You have taken what is ours. You have built your empire on the bones of our family. But we are coming for you. We are coming for your wife. We are coming for your son. And we will take everything from you, just as you took everything from us. The Serpents of the South.
