PROMISE OF THE ALPHA TO THE BLIND LUNA

PROMISE OF THE ALPHA TO THE BLIND LUNA

I asked, frowning curiously as I looked around and found only emptiness. I approached slowly, picking up one of the cubes. Inside it, a white butterfly with golden details emitted a beautiful glow with every beat of its wings. Should I free it? With that thought, I slammed the cubes against each other, shattering them. Immediately, I was lifted off the ground by a swarm of butterflies, half of them black with green reflections and the other half white with golden touches. They surrounded my body, radiating a mixed light that seemed to penetrate my skin, as if purity and darkness were merging within me.

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

I wished I could also ignore this throbbing pain inside my chest every time I saw him, or even thought about him. I took a deep breath and rang the bell. I looked back and saw that Chaise had not yet gone away. He was waiting for me to go inside the house. Of course, like a true guardian angel, he was waiting for me to be safely inside. Denise’s house was massive. The living room alone was twice the size of my entire house. The ceilings were high and they were adorned with beautiful crystal chandeliers. “We already had dinner,” she said. “But I had something prepared for you.”

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

THE LABYRINTH

THE LABYRINTH

The last soldier raised his weapon, voice shaking. “F—f—” The horned silhouette surged—and the rifle clattered to the dirt. Silence returned like a lid coming down. The fire still burned, casting light over twisted canvas. No one moved. The Labyrinth – Deep Cavern – Night Below the firestorm, deep in the ancient labyrinth, Sean and Jessica crossed a stone threshold unseen by human eyes for thousands of years. The chamber ahead glowed unnaturally white, its walls threaded with gold that shimmered like veins in rock.

The Last Descent

The Last Descent

The retired military team's titanium diving bell had been knocked off course by an undercurrent at 3,380 feet. The last segment of their comms log was the team leader shouting, "Cabin pressure abnormal... Retract! Retract now!" before it dissolved into static. Brody slammed his phone onto the table. "There's no chance any of them survived." "What about the one from Kaimon?" "No word yet. He said he was going to wait for a gap in the undercurrents before descending." By the afternoon, the Kaimon diver's final voice message was in the group chat. Brody had someone translate it.

THE GAMMA'S DAUGHTER

THE GAMMA'S DAUGHTER

I stared at their fragile beauty, suspended midair, lighting up the rotting stone walls and crumbling arches. “Wait,” I said suddenly, my brow furrowing. “They look like fireflies.” “They’re not.” Bryan stopped in his tracks and turned back to me. “They’re souls.” I blinked. “What?” “Souls of butterflies,” he said. “Cursed to remain. Do you think butterflies naturally glow like that?” I stared longer. Their wings shimmered, but their bodies held no life—just hollow, glowing husks. My stomach twisted. “That’s… disturbing.”

Beatrice Beecham's Cryptic Crypt

Beatrice Beecham's Cryptic Crypt

Emily was with her, the girl’s flaxen hair flowing around her like a wonderful mane of gold, a determined look on her face. Emily swam to the bracket and clutched it in her small hands, and within moments Beatrice was finally free of her prison, the bracket trailing behind her as she followed Emily’s torchlight through the tide and into the space through which Chorley had disappeared. It was a short tunnel, a blow hole eroded into the rock, and Beatrice saw the light around her change, spurring her on, the world becoming sluggish as the lack of oxygen finally took its toll. Emily came up to her knees, her head and shoulders breaking the surface, and within moments Beatrice felt tiny hands gr

BANABELLA

BANABELLA

“Last night, I visited King Guaya. He talked about the visitors you saw the other night. They demanded for Banabella, but we denied them their request. King Guaya lied to them that she’d been acutely ill and had died two days ago. The prince did not believe this. He and his men left, saying no word. King Guaya followed them as though leading the way out, and furiously, a soldier threw a parchment at his face and that was when they left in anger. The next day, another group returned, demanding for Banabella. And as they rode off, with no hopeful response from King Guaya, a soldier hauled another parchment at his face. “The first letter read: ‘I, Prince Habeb, the Prince of Suramy demand from

The Butterfly Flying Amidst The Smoke

The Butterfly Flying Amidst The Smoke

She could talk to animals, plants, and insects. She could understand them as if she could hear their voices. The butterfly flew from her finger and landed on her left shoulder as she heard skittering from the field. The flowers moved because of the fast movement on the ground. The movement continued until it reached the end of the field where she was. Three squirrels came out, dragging a pack of pink donuts wrapped in thick plastics.

The Awakening

The Awakening

The mighty have fallen. Before he can change his mind, his wings burst open. There's no way he's going to ruin everything he's ever worked for. Even if it appears to be hopeless now, the Lord always has a purpose. He will prove his worth-if it's the last thing he ever does. His feathers twitch, anxious for the air. With one last breath of the clean, fresh air of Heaven, he dives toward the surface. His wings carry him lower and lower. They spin him around in circles causing his usually perfect hair to flap all about. This long descent is the best part of this whole thing. It’s the most air he’s ever experienced, making him feel like a dove: determined and free.
