I asked, frowning curiously as I looked around and found only emptiness. I approached slowly, picking up one of the cubes. Inside it, a white butterfly with golden details emitted a beautiful glow with every beat of its wings. Should I free it? With that thought, I slammed the cubes against each other, shattering them. Immediately, I was lifted off the ground by a swarm of butterflies, half of them black with green reflections and the other half white with golden touches. They surrounded my body, radiating a mixed light that seemed to penetrate my skin, as if purity and darkness were merging within me.
