The curtains waved in the large western-style window at the front of the house.
“This house is a relic of the Dutch colonial era. My father bought some of the land on this island, almost sixty percent of the land here belongs to my father, used for the spice plantation and this area of the house. The rest is residential housing. This house has been completely restored by my father. He really likes all things old-fashioned.” Aaron smiled at Laurel and winked. “But don't worry, even if this house is an ancient house, there won't be any ghosts. Well, maybe if you see sightings of medieval broad-dressed women, ignore them.”
