The Elite Novels & Stories

I replied automatically, as he dragged a chair over and sat without asking. "So, Chris, all set for tomorrow?" Marcus asked, helping himself to wine without hesitation. "Elite already confirmed they'll be sending their best team." Something cold knotted in my stomach. "Elite?" I asked, trying to keep my tone casual. "Elite PR," Marcus said, winking. "The top PR firm in the country. They've completely transformed our image over the past year. My idea, by the way." I looked at Christian, but he seemed oblivious to the bomb Marcus had just dropped.

“Elite SA is like Disney World for the rich. There are a host of activities to participate in. There’s golf, tennis, yoga, you can get a massage, and there’s a casino where we host slot, poker, and Blackjack tournaments. What else? There’s a movie theater, a basketball and racquetball court, cricket, horses, an indoor Olympic swimming pool, and a tropical-style swimming pool and hot tub outside. There is a world-class Michelin star chef on staff, and he’ll make anything your little heart desires. If we don’t have it, then we’ll fly it in. You want oysters, sweetheart? Not a problem. We’ll fly you in some fresh from the Delta de l’Ebre.” “Sounds fancy...and expensive.” “Yes, to both, but you

Even the children of elites in NUAT are extremely intelligent. The dinner at the Skyline Club—an exclusive penthouse haunt where the air was thin and the commoners were invisible—had been a masterclass in elite damage control. It was far removed from the sirens and chants echoing at the university gates. The table was set with fine bone china and silver that gleamed under the crystal chandelier.

She was indeed after them. Emily jerked the mail from her mother, and she also had the same reaction and expression her mother had, "What! Are they crazy?" She blurted out. "We will never accept this. I will write an email back to them and tell them we will never accept the demotion. What nonsense are they spewing? We will be demoted to the lower class?" She let out, her chest hurling up and down as she talked due to uncontrollable anger. The mail that was sent to them was from the Elite Club they joined, and they had just been demoted to the lower class because of what transpired between them and Lexi at the award ceremony. Mauve’s protests were quickly softened by Sephie’s coaxing, until she sat tied once more to the chair. Nicholas folded his hands, voice sharp and commanding. “Listen carefully. Save your questions for the end. Understood?” Mauve, sulking, gave a small nod. “Elite is a parallel dimension of Earth,” Nicholas began. “It exists a thousand years ahead of your time. Here, it is 2021. There, it is 3021. The geography mirrors Earth’s, but its population is smaller, tightly controlled. Resources are abundant. Our technology far surpasses anything here.”

My brows furrowed. “I mean,” he continued, “look at it, Arden. Elite is the most prestigious academy in the country. Maybe even the continent. The facilities are state-of-the-art. The curriculum is intense, innovative, and powerful. It trains warriors, strategists, healers, scholars, and diplomats all under one roof. It produces the best of the best. We all came here because of that. Because everyone says this is the place where greatness is born.” He shook his head.

I couldn't help but ask, my eyes wide as saucers. "I'm not supposed to answer that, am I?" "Elite dungeon? Shit!" I heard Laura whisper and I frowned. This didn't seem to be good. "What? Do you know about it?" I asked in confusion. "Well, ELITE DUNGEON is an underground club where people held in high esteem including your Mister come together to pick a woman for their pleasure. They are the type of people who either enjoy sex submissively, dominantly, either in bondage or being a masochist. The list goes on, so what's your take?" It took time for me to process all of the words he said.

"Elite, can I get there soon?" “Yup,” Inara chirped, way too cheerful for someone talking about supernatural death traps. “It's just that to be an Elite isn’t just hard, it’s basically impossible. Only a handful ever make it, most people stay stuck in the lower ranks or get weeded out and by weeded out, I mean dead, broken, or eaten. Or worse made someone's magical punching bag.” “Charming.” I rubbed my face. “So much for orientation shit and ‘meet your dorm-mates’ bingo.”

Thanking God for all her blessings was top priority. They started trekking up the mountain as partners. Jaimee felt lucky that her partner was Jack, the guide, himself. If anything happened she had the expert himself. Her calf muscles were already starting to burn as they ascended the mountain, but further along, her adrenaline made the burn go away. She started walking faster, building up speed but Jack gave her a warning, “Don’t burn yourself out too quickly, Jaimee, we still have a long way to go before sunset. Get plenty of fluids too. But you’re all doing great, let keep going a little further before we stop to eat lunch.”
