Christopher I was a little embarrassed to admit I had to ask directions to the library. Twice. I wasn’t the library type. Never had been. Even when I was in school, I hadn’t used the library. It was so quiet. It creeped me out a little. I kind of liked chaos. I walked into the library, finding it nearly empty. I reminded myself that most students were at home enjoying their winter break. I scanned the many empty tables and wondered if there was somewhere specific I was supposed to be meeting Leila. I was a few minutes early, I reminded myself.

The roar of the city vanished, replaced by the low, rhythmic hum of a billion gigabytes of data moving through the walls. ​The interior was a cathedral of glass and light. There were no guards, no turrets, and no "Hollows." There was only the data. ​"Wait," Maya said, stopping at a central pedestal. "This... this isn't just a data-hub. It’s a 'Library of Souls.'"

And as she disappeared into the pages of the dream library, the world around her faded away, leaving her surrounded by the boundless possibilities of knowledge, growth, and inspiration that awaited her in the endless expanse of the world of books and ideas. Within the dream library, Hazel found herself surrounded by shelves that stretched infinitely into the distance, each one filled with books of every shape, size, and color. “Lola.” I nod, smiling. “Hi.” “Hi.” She looks around the hallway as if she expected someone to appear. “What are you doing here?” “I was bored,” I say. “And no one’s in the library, so I didn’t want to pick out books and make a mess.” Her eyebrows furrow. “There’s no one in the library?” I shake my head. “It’s always empty. Very quiet.” “Rainer told me he would find a temporary librarian.” She looks annoyed. “What did I even expect from that man?”

I only kept the Alpha and Luna’s quarters and t,hen I had everything else demolished and t,he library was built. This is my floor, my solitude. I make my way to the library first, I don't know why but I feel something pulling me there. I open thr huthedouble doors and i,t still hits me, how rand this room is, it's; it'slly the envy of all the packs, this; thisry had every single book on the supernatural, ever; everyyou can think off isofre, we even have grimoires that were thought to be lost.

I pushed the library Door open wanting to kno w who it was that took Raidens form. But The library was empty. And Raiden was gone.

The woman stood behind the podium; her old, but unworked hands, smoothing out the precious pages. “Welcome to my library,” The woman said, her eyes flashing to them. “Can I help you find something?” The librarian had a reputation about her, stories whispered on sleepless nights. Her name was Claudia, and she had been in the library for as long as anyone could remember. Claudia’s book held more than the location of library books; it was said to hold every answer imaginable. The volume was magic; so much so that it was a part of the woman’s soul, and only she could read its pages. To every other eye, it was completely and utterly blank.

Yuna and Jonathan were a perfect couple. It was Emma's turn to clean the grand library. Walking down the silent hallway, she pushed the heavy oak doors open. It was quiet, as usual, and the woman who was normally in charge of the library was nowhere to be seen. The massive room was entirely empty. Emma let out a tiny, excited grin. Finally, she could explore the beautiful space as much as she wanted.

My head jerks up, excitement already brewing in my guts as he hurried me along, obviously impatient to get us there. “Your special, cool place is a library?” I ask with a smile. I have no idea why I didn’t expect it. He nods vigorously, leading me deeper into the library. It was the town’s library, full of books and void of people to read them, the librarian post was empty. “We have a library back home, but try reading in peace when six girls decide they rule the place. So I was almost always here, and this place was always empty.” He leads me to what I know is his corner, seeing as his expression had turned sentimental.
