The possessive way he fucked me like he both hated and needed me. I forced a grin. “You’re crazy, man. You watch too many movies.” He stepped aside but whispered as I passed, “Run while you still can. He’ll ruin you.” Later that day, I overheard two employees gossiping near the cafeteria. “Did you hear about The Ghost? Some billionaire who shows up masked at underground parties. Pays good money, fucks like a demon, then vanishes. Nobody ever sees his face.” I laughed it off again. But deep inside of me, i was worried for myself.

In the moonlight, a woman in a white lace dress was kneeling on the stone steps of the chapel, her face buried in her hands, her shoulders trembling. She had no feet. Below her dress, there was only a swirling black mist. "I see her." Lorenzo let out a low whistle. "Two years ago, Marco put her in the ground right there. Her ashes are buried under the rose bushes behind the chapel." I didn't stop, walking straight toward the chapel. Giovanni froze behind me but didn't dare to call out. As I reached the bottom of the steps, the female ghost's head snapped up. She lunged at me, her face a sickly pale green, her eye sockets empty black pits.

I added, saying what I really felt. Christine, my old classmate, shared that story with me before. Christine asked me to accompany her to the library when I was still a transferee at this school. Then she told me a ghost student was roaming around inside the library. How I wished she would not have told me, though. Now, I am scared to go there alone. After that, when I got home, I searched on F******k for our school and saw some entries about encounters with the said ghost. "Ah, that..." Marco said.

His explanation shocked me , i have never heard such things and I've never believed in ghost theories. "It's getting dark , take this book and go read it " he said and gave me the strange old looking book. "Thank you sir, i have much appreciated your help" i said. Now i knew what it was all about, all those confusions were caused by him, my ghost clone. It was night already and the time was 7: 15 pm . I had to rush home , it was not safe for me to be lonely at this time. When i was passing by a certain basement , i heard a woman crying for help, i stopped to trace where the voice was coming from but the moment i stopped the voice also stopped, i started walking then i heard the woman yelling

> “In the place where silence speaks, > Beneath the words, the answer leaks. > Among forgotten tales and lore, > The past unlocks the hidden door”. Juliette’s voice caught. “The library.” Damon’s eyes darkened. “She’s weaponizing our history.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The old city library had long been a fortress of quiet, forgotten knowledge. Sunlight bled through its tall windows like golden fog. Juliette moved with purpose through the aisles. She knew where Evelyn would hide it somewhere the ghosts of the past still whispered.

After our final class for the day, I head for the library, more than ready to take on my shift for the evening. I need to stay busy. And, with exams drawing close, the library stays open until midnight for students to get in their study sessions without any interruption. Unless you insult a particular ghost that vacates the space. I haven’t seen Tilly for a hot minute, nor think about her—not until I enter the library and see Luca deep in a conversation with Dibella, right by the front desk.

“giving off alot of energy.” Behind her, I saw shelves and dim lamps and the shadow of the reading tables. The library smelled like paper and dust and something older, like pressed flowers long turned to powder. “Is it the wraiths?” I asked, before I could stop myself. Her eyes narrowed. “So you have given them a name?” Heat climbed my neck. “Well, there's been rumors about spirits.” She studied me for a heartbeat that felt like five. “Go straight to your hostel,” she said. “Don't linger near old places. Don't follow any voice that calls you from outside the walls.”

I mumbled as I got up, taking the empty glass to the sink, “Try me,” Thomas said, walking towards it, our backs meeting each other. Turning on the pipe, I began to rinse the used cup, “Well, to summarize it, I went by the library today because felt a presence pulling me towards it, I went inside and what I saw Thomas— was a ghost, it left that behind, saying I should wear it but I—” “Think you should throw it out”, Thomas cut me off, “who knows, it's probably a trick, you can't trust her.” He continued.

Despite the alikeness of all the books, there was a particular one that caught Taz's attention. It was a grey book with ancient inscriptions. He pulled it out, dusted it and hid it inside his garment and hurried out of the hidden room. Unknown to Taz, as he walked out of the room through the secret door and out of the library, the secret room disappeared and there was no secret library there anymore.
