I looked at her and smiled……so much like Josh…..very cheerful and enthusiastic and I enjoyed every moment I’ve spent with her…like a sister, I never had. Suddenly, I felt his gaze … I turned immediately and looked around, searching for him, but was disappointed for I saw no one…well, only just a squirrel wrestling with a walnut.

Paige told him. "But I've made great progress, haven't I?" Simon asked, yet to wipe out the grin on his face "And how will I know how much progress you've made, if I don't know how bad your temper was as a boy?" Paige asked with a soft smile. "Ahh! my temper, it was a trembling building that keeps trying to collapse each time the wind blows. It is very..." "Oh god!" Paige interrupted him, almost choking with laughter. "Where the hell did you get such a metaphor from?" Simon started, laughing as well.

Jane crouched in her human form and prepared to fight alongside Emily. Mya swore as the door closed and Jane and Emily disappeared. She felt like her whole world was in that room. She knew she had to trust Jane to take care of herself. Just as Jane trusted her. Simile bumped into her as two wolves slammed into Simile’s side. Mya grabbed one and ripped him away from Simile, throwing him down she snapped his neck in one quick move. Amber and Sam were fighting off their load of wolves and Mya put her energy into what was happening around her. Jane just had to be okay, she had to be.

As the object approached, a fire surrounded it. Simon came out and ran. The shadow of the flaming object is broad. Simon stumbled several times in his hurry. He dropped the sticks and felt the hot thing behind him. Simon couldn’t resist turning around. His eyes widened when he saw the hot rock coming down on him.

We leapt to our feet, and faced the creature once more. The creature stood before us, its eyes blazing with rage. It let out a roar that shook the very ground beneath our feet. But we stood our ground. We were the defenders of the light, and we would not give in. We were like the phoenix, reborn from the ashes. We were like the raging river, carving its way through the mountainside. We were like the oak, unyielding in the face of the storm. We were unstoppable. The creature faltered, its power waning. And then, with one final blow, we defeated it.
