Rebel Blood

Rebel Blood

“I would have destroyed my entire vampire family if they saw me.” The executioner straps Theseus to a splintery wooden table that's already slick with the blood of the victims that came before him, and cuts his clothing away with a dull blade. As I watch, he opens a small slit in the boy’s stomach and starts to pull his intestines out. The crowd goes wild, braying for more blood, more pain, more suffering.

Wolf shifter romance with murder mystery

Wolf shifter romance with murder mystery

Alpha Chen says coldly. Victoria laughs. "Oh, I won't see anything. But neither will most of you. The Order doesn't make mistakes. They don't show mercy. And they're coming, whether you believe it or not." "Enough," Alpha Morrison says. "Final words are over. Let the sentence be carried out." Two wolves enter the chamber, executioners chosen from the tribunal's guards. They shift into their wolf forms, circling Victoria. She doesn't fight when they release her chains. Doesn't beg or plead.

Soft Moans For My Mafia-Billionaire Captor

Soft Moans For My Mafia-Billionaire Captor

She looked worried sick, walking up to my house after not finding me anywhere and for days, She kept glancing around, calling my name softly under her breath, her steps hesitant like she already knew something was wrong. I couldn’t stay hidden. I couldn't bear her panic and welled up face… she just lost her grandmother and I was the only one she had left. We were going to get married in a few months and my life is already ruined. I stepped out, moving toward her fast, ready to tell her to go back, to stay away until it blew over. Her Territory

Her Territory

The execution is not merely an act of punishment; it is an attempt to reassert her dominance and control. Cecilia, now confronted with her impending doom, faces a moment of reflection. She contemplates the choices that led her to this point, the consequences of her actions, and the price she must pay. Fear and resignation intertwine within her, yet a spark of defiance ignites within her soul. The execution chamber, a cold and desolate space, stands as a macabre testament to Sasha's reign of terror. Shackled and surrounded by darkness, Cecilia stands with a steely resolve. Her eyes, once filled with innocence and compassion, now bear the weight of her imminent fate.

Becoming The Luna

Becoming The Luna

He was a man awaiting his reckoning. The Executioners, a group of cold, stoic warriors chosen for their ruthlessness, stepped forward. Their faces were concealed behind masks, their eyes the only visible part of them, betraying no emotion. I could see the gleam of the ceremonial axes they held, their polished blades reflecting the sunlight, ready to do what was necessary. I stepped back as Elder Garrick continued. "Let the punishment be carried out." The first strike came quickly, almost too quickly. With just a swipe, Xavier's life was taken in an instant, his body falling to the ground as his head rolled off.

The Maid the Alphas Couldn't Forget

The Maid the Alphas Couldn't Forget

The cage in my chest rattled violently. “You killed her,” I whispered. “You burned my home. You murdered my father.” “I didn’t kill her.” He shrugged, utterly indifferent. “I just opened the door for the rogues. Elena Ashford gave the orders. I was merely the executioner.” He tilted his head, his eyes gleaming. “And you, little wolf, are the unfinished business.” He uncorked the vial. The dark liquid hissed, releasing a foul, acrid scent that made my stomach turn.

My Cheating Mate

My Cheating Mate

Mom and Dad had refused to come—couldn't watch Thomas die despite supporting the sentence. I'd understood. Part of me wished I'd made the same choice. Wished I was anywhere except here, watching my grandfather face execution. But I needed to be here. Needed to witness the end. Needed to see that his ideology died with him. The execution platform was simple. Traditional. A raised wooden structure in the center of neutral territory. Silver restraints. Guards—both vampire and wolf. And the executioner—a vampire I didn't recognize, chosen specifically because Thomas had tried to kill Lord Castellan.

Marked by Moon Fire

Marked by Moon Fire

he called, voice hoarse and thick with pain, “The executioner.” Gamma Hume rose to his feet, gave a bow, and left. In a moment, the executioner stepped out of the shadows, raining pouring down his hood. He carried an axe so broad, its edge honed for one purpose. Bernard's breath hitched, his knees feeling weak.

Happily Ever After

Happily Ever After

she said. It was so silent, I could only hear blood pulsing within my ears. I hated to admit that Tasha was right, but I doubted her plans to murder me had been her single, negative choice. For all I knew, she could've been telling the absolute truth, but I didn't believe it. I didn't care that I didn't believe it, either. The announcer waited for a few moments, in case Tasha was going to add anything, but she didn't, so he ordered the executioners to perform their duties. The two men silently looked at each other, and I realized that they were going to execute my enemies simultaneously.

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

I add. “Another good point. Let’s head out to meet with Ish and we can see where he’s searched and if there is anywhere that we haven’t thought of. Kenna’s right, we need to think differently if we’re going to find him.” We step away from the snow leopard shifter, careful not to mess up the scene for when the humans find her. The news of a serial killer has been all over the country. They call the assassin The Executioner becaues of the way the victims are decapitated. Humans are terrified and have started acting crazy, afriad of each other and sometimes killing each other needlessly. The only good thing about that is that when they are terrified of each other, they ignore the animals, foreg

This is book number 2. It does not disappoint. There is no loss of momentum in this series. The characters continue to grow and evolve. Never a dull chapter. Cooper really did an excellent job setting up the series with places to go and more characters to introduce. Brilliant.
