The Twin Who Took It All

The Twin Who Took It All

The ultimate terror of a countdown isn't the mechanical ticking of a clock ticking toward zero; it is the sudden, freezing realization that the corporate empire you built to protect your future is about to be handed over to a fraud, while you sit fifty yards away in the dark, matching the ticking second for second with a handwritten log of their destruction.

The Final Straw

The Final Straw

Something twisted in my chest, but I forced it down and said, word for word, “Alpha Leon, this is the last time I’m saying this seriously. “So listen carefully. I’m not making a scene, and this isn’t some game. “We are over. I will not be your secretary again, nor will I return to your side. “Who you mark in the future has nothing to do with me.” When I finished, I took Jace’s hand and walked toward the field. Behind me, Leon’s voice broke into a hoarse shout. “Celine! Are you really going to stay with an Alpha like him?! “Only we can push each other to further heights! If you don’t turn back now, we’re finished!”

The Path of No Return

The Path of No Return

When I regained consciousness, I saw my father walking toward me. I froze in place, unsure of how to react. It was only when he walked through me that I realized that he couldn't see me. "Happy birthday, Queenie!" I watched as he patted my cousin, Queenie Anderson's head with a smile and handed her a prettily wrapped-up gift. "Thank you, Uncle Ben!" Queenie's birthday was seven days after mine. All of a sudden, it dawned on me that I had been dead for seven days.

An Alpha's End

An Alpha's End

“You want him dead, right? Poison him.” I touched the tiny cold bottle. It has been already three days since I woke up. And I haven’t got the chance to talk to Lane. My eyes watched the scene below me. I stood up from my seat when I saw Lane entered the main gates. I’m now here in their main base. Eventually, the evacuation was successful. I was sure of my decision. I was persistent of killing him! It should be easy but why am I feeling this way? I got up from bed and saw that lunch was already served.

I don’t know why this book has no reviews. I’m at 25th chapter and I can already tell this is gonna be one of the best books I’ve read in a while. Story is great, character development smooth and nice, story is not dragging, repeating, it’s well written and keeps you at the edge all the times. Bravo

This story had been so good, I binged it straight through. The female lead was strong, things were working out, but then twists and turns and things fell apart. I’m rooting for Francesco but after 600 chapters I’ve been taking a break. I don’t know how many years it’ll take before things resolve

The billionaire who never wanted a bride

The billionaire who never wanted a bride

“A church. Outside the city. Abandoned.” The man nodded. “Under the altar.” Silence crashed down between them. “You have until the countdown ends,” the man said calmly. “Come alone. Or we start removing pieces you love.” The screen went black. The countdown resumed. 22:59:41 Isabella stared at the phone, horror settling deep in her bones. “They will never stop,” she whispered. Alexander placed his hands on her shoulders, grounding her. “Neither will we.” She looked up at him. “They said come alone.”

When Betrayal Became the Final Goodbye

When Betrayal Became the Final Goodbye

I won't believe a single word you say! The pain on my face and head could not compare to the helplessness in my heart. Looking at Claudia leaning in Nolan's arms, I closed my eyes briefly. "Claudia, let me ask you one last time. Are you really not coming with me?" Claudia responded with a cold laugh, turning her head to talk to Nolan as if I were invisible. Just before the hotel door closed, I heard her comforting Nolan. "Tomorrow morning, let's give the dog a proper send-off. Don't be too sad, okay?"

The Final Prank

The Final Prank

It was not until a year later that they finally came to a truce, when Mandy's father approached Andy with a photo, asking humbly, "I have information that might interest you. Will this be enough to exchange for my daughter's freedom?" Andy was lighting himself a cigarette, and paused as he quickly took the photo, his eyes staring fixedly as if to commit every pixel to memory. Mandy's father pointed out, "Ms. Smith is alive and abroad, still recovering. That's proof." Yes, that definitely was his Jane! Andy was at once happy and miserable. Happy that Jane was alive. Miserable that Jane had another man now. In the photo, she was sitting in a wheelchair and reading a book, her gaze clearer than

Dear Mafia, My Heart Belongs To You

Chapter One Hundred and : The Final Countdown Damian's POV The room was filled with the harsh beeping of the countdown on the bomb, the constant, remorseless intervals ringing out. 00:02:45. The evil red numerals on the device pulsed, a grim reminder that every second ticked us closer to disaster. Bianca leaned against the cold ground, her body shaking in weakness due to the wounds I had inflicted upon her before. Nonetheless, despite the pain, she smirked. Her deep, bloodshot eyes gleamed with twisted satisfaction. She thrived in such chaos.

Frequently Asked Questions

The novel 'Countdown to Zero Day' dives deep into the terrifying world of cyber warfare, focusing on the Stuxnet worm—a piece of malware that targeted Iran's nuclear facilities. It's a gripping blend of investigative journalism and tech thriller, unraveling how this digital weapon was crafted, deployed, and the geopolitical chaos it sparked. The author, Kim Zetter, meticulously pieces together the puzzle, revealing shadowy alliances between governments and hacker teams.

What hooked me was how it reads like a spy novel but is chillingly real. The stakes feel sky-high as Zetter explains how Stuxnet could've caused physical destruction—a first for malware. I couldn't help but side-eye my own computer afterward, wondering about the invisible battles happening in cyberspace. It's a wake-up call about how fragile our digital infrastructure really is.
