Charon bowed and left the throne room. The palace grounds and the surrounding fields were called Erebus. This was the deepest part of the Underworld. No birds flew there, but the sounds of wings could be heard from the three fearsome creatures who had just returned. These were Tisiphone, Alecto, and Megaera, the Furies, the Eumenides, or the Kindly Ones. They were hags, with snarky hair, red-hot eyes, and yellow sharp teeth. Entire cities have vanished, and when I try to remember what stood there, my mind slides off the space like it’s polished glass. That is the worst part. There should be grief. Names. Faces. Instead there is absence where memory should live. The Rage devoured the Madness and renamed itself the Fury. It tears through the north like a god drunk on its own power, warping sky and stone with every strike. Packs turn feral just breathing the air it’s touched. Brothers kill brothers in frenzies they won’t remember, if they survive at all. Three days ago, the Despair slipped free, it moves softly. Gently.

What I want doesn't matter at the end of the day. He reared back, leaning off me as though I'd slapped him. "You think because I've taken you, that it doesn't matter?" I tilted my head to look up at him questioningly. "Would you rather every wolf in the pack had you? That you were marked by one such as Fury?" Fury was a terrifying wolf. He had scars and was known for sudden outbursts of violent temper. He was unpredictable and known to be brutal. Same as Draven is.

Joey, with a pale face, shouted, "Alisha, as the Alpha of the Black Furies, I command you to get out of my pack right now! If you continue your insolence, you will be considered a sinner in the Black Furies! Are you going to betray the Heimann family?" Other Black Furies werewolves around, with hostile eyes, stared at me. Many even bared their teeth, shouting, "If you want to attack our pack, you have to step over my body first!" "Yes, we won't allow you to cause chaos on our territory!" "Yes, drive her out!" "Even if she has power from Blood Dawn, she can't disrespect our Black Furies!" Tension mounted as they gathered against my guard, and the atmosphere became tense.

It bore no similarities to the crest of the other elder gods so she knew she wasn’t mistaken. Fury burned in her veins as she picked up the piece of silk memorizing the image of the black cat, staring back at her and what was painted as a shadow of the black cat, looking away from her. The longer she knelt in the balcony now stained with innocent blood, the stronger her rage grew. She wanted to get her revenge. She joked about it anytime they talked but Evander knew, deep down, she meant it. But no one has ever attempted to harm a god and lived to tell the story. Jane was living proof of that.

It didn’t just vibrate in the air; it shook the souls of every creature in the valley. "Kill her!" Fenris screamed, his face twisting into a mask of frantic rage. "Kill the abomination!" The Silver Fang warriors charged. These weren't the undisciplined cowards of the Crescent Moon Pack. These were monsters of war, moving in a lethal, coordinated phalanx. They didn't get a chance though. I stared at the two squirrels chasing one another up in the tree, even if they had someone to be with! 'This is all your fault!' Fury was mad. He was berserk these days, pacing back and forth in the back of my mind. I don't know what strength remains left in me, because I need to restrain him now and then. If I let him out, he will kill every creature he faces. He's mad at me for agreeing to my mate's idea. I shouldn't have agreed. I shouldn't have let her go by themselves. She may be a Luna, but she's still weak in her physique.

The look of rage on her face sent shivers down my spine. "I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Vanessa screamed. She growled like a rabid beast before it pounced, and suddenly she rushed towards me, her blinding speed fueled by her rage. She knocked me to the ground with enough force to dislocate my shoulder. "I wanted you to help me! Why not help me!?" She yelled as she pummeled me. "I won't help you destroy humanity! You can't decide people's fates, you're not a god Vanessa!" I screamed back.

I just feel you have to hear this because I can't tell Festus about it NEVER. So on the night of on 18th, A frightful storm was blowing that night. Fierce winds roaring out of the North brought sheets of rain falling from the depths of a pitch-black sky. Intermittent flashes of lightning fractured the night, revealing a strobe-light view of my room in monochrome stills. You know, I hated being alone on a night like that.
