The Ember Ghost opened his mouth and showed his sharp teeth before lowering her mouth to the exposed woman’s neck. The crowd watched in silence as the Ember Ghost appeared to suck the woman’s blood. The woman’s arms flailed weakly but her face looked serene, if not enjoying the experience. Then, the woman’s expression slowly changed into pain and she grimaced. She placed her arms around the Ember Ghost’s head weakly before dropping them weakly to her side. Then, the woman’s limp body slid out of view leaving the Ember Ghost standing. He wiped the remaining red stains from his mouth with a swipe of his arm before disappearing within the smoke that blew from across the float.

He looked again at the book I was carrying and let out a sigh, as if what he was about to say weighed more than he had expected. “What you saw last night…” he began, his eyes serious, “wasn’t a nightmare or a hallucination. Scarlett, the creature that almost drowned you is a gorgon. A princess of the lake, to be exact.” The words barely seemed real, and for a moment I thought it had to be some kind of joke. “A… gorgon?” I repeated, incredulous. “Like in the legends?” “Yes.” Alex nodded, his expression completely certain. “I don’t know why a lake princess attacked you, but I promise I’ll find out.”

Gold and Silver Ghost’s expressions suddenly stiffened. In the next second, the two’s chests were shocked and their eyeballs even popped out. An invisible force forcibly squeezed the two’s hearts until they exploded! Gold and Silver Ghost were dead! Zella Yaeger just happened to watch the sudden death scene of the two people, she felt that it was extremely surreal. The movie started playing, I adjusted my sitting position as comfortable as possible, I glanced at Inder for a moment, his face looked calm while enjoying the popcorn in his hand. At the beginning of the story, it still looks ordinary, there are no signs that the ghost will appear, but in the 15th minute the atmosphere begins to tense. My heart pounded as creepy noises began to rub each other, caressing my sense of hearing, making my hair rise up instantly.

An actual ghost was standing in front of me, which means the ghost story was real and the only people I know to wear all-white outfits are ghosts.
