His rejection; the fate of my true mate

His rejection; the fate of my true mate

FREYA’S POV Just like every other evening, I was busy with a book I had been deeply engrossed in for days when Hailey and Lacey rushed in to notify me of the Alpha’s verdict about hosting a feast for all the packs under him. Since I wasn’t the party type, I was not interested in the information and only nodded when I was told. They kept giggling and talking about how they love the pack’s feasts because of foods that will be made available and also since there are several strangers coming in, they might have a good time with any good looking one amidst them.

Hated By The Ruthless Alpha

Hated By The Ruthless Alpha

Leila's POV. The preparation for the feast was very abrupt, but we had to do it quickly. The preparations were more difficult because the head slave said it'll be a grand feast. I didn't know which Alpha was coming, but I knew it was an Alpha. The head slave said she'd explain it later and so I decided to go out, eat something, and then come back. I was hungry, tired and I couldn't do anything if I didn't eat. The other slaves were all working,as I grabbed bread and ate immediately.

His Mate, Her Savior

His Mate, Her Savior

We have a quick shower and get dressed for the feast, I decided to wake Breda and convince her to join us, I didn’t want her to wake up in a strange room alone. The three of us join the rest of the fam in the feast which by the way is incredible I have no idea how they managed to convince the hotel to keep staff on and cater to our feast at such a late hour, its pushing midnight and I am pretty damn sure my parents didn’t book the entire hotel just for us so I would say there will be noise complaints with the racket we are all making… oops. We fill our bellies with as much food as we can then play some games then we sit down and talk about our memories with Ragnar.

His Brother's Mate

His Brother's Mate

Because of the mysteries behind her birth and parents’ deaths, she’d not known about this, and would now get to know them by hosting the initial Yule feast on the pack lands. Edith had been helping alongside so many others to work to make this a Yule they would remember. With so many things changing within the supernatural community, old fears and aversions needed a closer look about if they still held true. Like this coming feast, many other groups were coming together for the first time to celebrate. “Allan, I’m done here, so I’m going to head up and see what the girls have going this afternoon. Oh, how freeing this feels. Maybe we can continue working like this in the New Year.”

Your story seems very interesting. You described complicated relations between your characters, picking my interest. I wonder why the pregnant woman decided to inform his family about his son after he told her to stay away. Good job!

Enjoyable story and I like the way it was written. Lots of detail but not boring at all as it was a fresh approach to the subject matter and I think anyone who is open to new thoughts on the supernatural will be very happy!

Silent Rejection

Silent Rejection

She was all over him, stroking his hard manhood while he was relieving her with his fingers. “No.” He pushed her down. “Let’s go.” Eloisa thought that it would be a bad place but to her surprise. It was a manor. With farms, little community. Everyone had gathered. They brought up the meat and there’s a piglet being grilled whole. She gaped upon seeing this. Most of them were omegas with their other half. Then, the big table was served with a lot of meats, fruits, fish… is it a feast? “Eli!” Gracey ran to her crying and hugged her tightly. Eloisa pressed her lips trying hard not to cry but she hugged her sister tightly. It was her fault anyway. That she had gone through a lot.

Claimed by the Ruthless Alpha Prince

I don’t slow down. “I’m not tired.” “But surely you’d like to rest before beginning your search? The feast tonight will give me time to gather more information. Harper has prepared all your favorite dishes—” “How would she know my favorite dishes?” He stumbles slightly. “Well, she—she researched. Asked around. She’s very thoughtful that way.” I push open the door to my quarters without responding. Blackwood hovers in the doorway, clearly reluctant to let me disappear. “The feast begins at sunset,” he says. “Harper has been planning it. She’s quite the hostess, you know. Everyone always says—”

Back to the Banquet

Back to the Banquet

Emily Larson's shrill voice echoed through the banquet hall. "This meatball dish is something I paid a fortune to learn from a master chef at a five-star hotel. It's a perfect harmony between meat and vegetables. The broth is rich and fragrant, and its plating exquisite. How could the clients possibly be unhappy?" Hearing that familiar voice of my nemesis, I snapped fully awake and realized that I had been reborn. Her voice drew the other colleagues, who quickly gathered around.

Rejected by my Alpha, Loved by my Beta

Rejected by my Alpha, Loved by my Beta

The merriment of the festival was cruel in its mockery, and a reminder to me of the blood that was to be spilled. And so as the night went on, feast after feast spread out, platters of roasted venison, yams and fresh bread passed along fires. They sang up songs, and gave out stories, but I could not eat, for my mind was on what was going down at night. There was going through nbd blood spilled. Solana’s eyes caught mine from across the flames, her nod an unspoken anchor. The moon rose higher, and eventually the merrymaking wound down, packs breaking up to return to cabins with full bellies and tired grins.

The Hidden Heiress: A Sweet Taste of Revenge

The Hidden Heiress: A Sweet Taste of Revenge

The city lights reflected off the water, casting gentle ripples of gold across their faces. Serena found herself smiling at how naturally William moved, cutting food, checking temperatures, wiping little hands without being asked. They worked in quiet sync, as if they’d done this a hundred times before. Caelen sat beside Serena, leaning into her arm as she carefully spooned soup to him. Across from them, William helped Caelia, patiently waiting for her to finish chewing before offering another bite. "Wow, this is really delicious!" Caelric said, his mouth messy as he eagerly ate on his own.

The book is well written and very interesting! However, keep in mind there is no happy ending for now. According to the author, there will be a sequel with a happy end, but it is still not in the app, hopefully soon. Personally, I can't wait about it.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you loved the dark, sumptuous vibes of 'The Feast', you might dive into 'The Vegetarian' by Han Kang—it’s got that same unsettling blend of beauty and brutality, where ordinary lives unravel in surreal, visceral ways. Both books use food as a metaphor for control and desire, though 'The Vegetarian' leans more into body horror and psychological fragmentation.

Another gem is 'Tender Is the Flesh' by Agustina Bazterrica, which takes cannibalism as its central theme but wraps it in eerily clinical prose. It’s less about lavish feasts and more about the commodification of bodies, but the underlying commentary on consumption hits just as hard. For something lighter but equally decadent, 'Like Water for Chocolate' by Laura Esquivel weaves magical realism into recipes, where emotions literally flavor the food—less grotesque, but just as immersive.
