Fighting Fate

Fighting Fate

All my best ideas get caught up in the mediocre ones, so I find myself leaping from plan to plan. I promise I’ll try to keep to the point. Don’t make me turn the charm on you too. I've got sex appeal and I'm not afraid to use it. As long as you’re not a shifter too? Anyway, the casino, now that was one of my very best ideas. The Gilded Falcon. My pride and joy. Rich red carpets, a dozen red felt topped playing tables with rich mahogany everywhere else. I went against gold. Too much gold always looks tacky, too little looks like you can’t afford it, so none.

Another great story written by Alle! I really enjoyed the characters conversing with the reader, it was a really neat perspective that I’ve never read before now! This book has it all- love, humor, excitement, danger, heartbreak, and healing … all bundled up nicely with a bow. READ IT!

I have read this twice now and absolutely love it! Rocco's character is nothing short of spectacular. I just adore him. I am also slightly obsessessed with the way the characters talk to the reader in this book! Highly recommend this book, as well as all of Alle's books!

Her Graceful War Song

Her Graceful War Song

Her mood sank to a new low. After returning to the house and sitting for a while, she asked Frederick for the receipt from the Gilded Tower and set out with Lulu to collect the jewelry Kyle had ordered for her. The Gilded Tower was quite large, with two connected storefronts and both a ground floor and an upper floor. The name of the store was simply "Gilded Tower." They sold not only gold jewelry, but also other types of precious gems and ornaments. The designs were decent, though they couldn't quite compare to those of the Golden Tower.

Iracks 😘🖤
I am giving this book 5 stars because it's my 1st time reading a book with more than 400 chapters and it has kept me hooked from the Start. I am now at chapter 1002. And I am disappointed that I will be finishing it soon. Thank you, author!!! ...

This one of the best stories that have kept me re-reading. The difference between high born with high morals and character, to the abusive power and selfish entitlement. In a world that is run by man, and females are second hand citizens.

Side Chick Era… Over

Side Chick Era… Over

Nate lost interest almost immediately, yawning within minutes. Sharon, however, seemed genuinely engaged, studying each piece with interest. Wendy muttered, "A few random strokes going for hundreds of thousands… What a racket." Modern masterworks often fetched six figures at auction. As for the antiquities, especially those from the Renaissance era or the Gilded Age, prices routinely soared into the millions. The older the work, the higher the value. Xavier commented, "It might not compare to the last auction, but this one's still impressive. Can't believe there are so many untouched Gilded Age masterpieces, all verified."

We’re almost 2200 chapters into the story and the only thing we’ve read is Sharon’s suffering. I understand that novels need drama to engage people, but there comes a point where it’s just too much. When will that poor woman be happy?

The Billionaire's Kept Woman

The Billionaire's Kept Woman

"This is our family's trusted secretary. He's been protecting my family's wealth for decades." "Oh." Keira's eyes widened. "You are rich, Mom?" she asked. "Yes. In fact," Henry spoke, "the Golden Age was funded by them before it was even on top." "Oh," Keira exclaimed. "So..." She waited for her mother. "I will tell you the rest later. But I want you to greet him. This is Carter."

Exclusively His

Exclusively His

Just a GPS coordinate for The Gilded Room, a high-end bar they had both visited. Noah didn't hesitate. He grabbed his jacket and bolted for the door. *** The Gilded Room was a sanctuary of old money and deep secrets. The air was thick with the scent of expensive tobacco and aged bourbon. It was the kind of place where voices were kept low and checks were signed with gold-plated pens. Noah pushed through the doors, squinting his eyes. He spotted Elliot’s favorite booth in the far corner. A figure was sitting there, cloaked in the shadows. The broad shoulders, the tailored suit, the way one hand rested casually on a crystal glass.

Fire Your Top Mechanic, Bury Your Shop

Fire Your Top Mechanic, Bury Your Shop

Although the shop was smaller than Gilded Ages, it was in a much better location. That was the reason why Terence and Rebecca were panicking. "Don't get ahead of yourself too soon, Lilian. Gilded Ages was established five years ago. We have plenty of loyal customers and plenty of funds, too. There's no way that our customers will look for you. You probably won't even make enough to cover the rent!" "Is that so?" I smiled. I looked at the guests around us, who turned their gazes on Terence and Rebecca. An uncomfortable look crossed Terence's and Rebecca's faces.

Gold Digger or Heiress?

Gold Digger or Heiress?

“Oh, and one more thing. “My name is Claire Bennett. “This mall was a gift from my father on my twentieth birthday.” I let the silence settle. Then, calmly: “Mr. Collins… on your boss’s own property, do you really think anyone would dare frame her as a thief?”

The Billionaire’s Gilded Cage

The Billionaire’s Gilded Cage

The Billionaire’s Gilded Cage By Golden Tree They dressed her with silk and silence. Beneath the light of Seoul’s finest chandeliers, Chaewon Kim stood like an impossibly shaped statue—flawless, beautiful, untouched. The designer evening gown clung to her body in shining folds of ivory and silver, the off-the-shoulder cut beautiful with china skin. To the observing superior, she was the very picture of poise and privilege. A beautiful heiress claiming her rightful place at the peak of authority. But beneath her composed facade, she was drowning.

All that Glitters is not Gold

All that Glitters is not Gold

In the end, my grandfather was the one who had led Skymex Group to its current glory in his youth, propelling himself as the richest man of Adonia. That was why everyone in the hall recognized him and knew about his legend. And given everything he did since he arrived, everyone in the hall now understood that I was the real grandson of Miles Langford—and Harold was the gigolo who was being sponsored. That was why they were all looking at him in disgust right then. "What? Harold Langford is really a gigolo! How desperate do those women have to be to get a sugar baby like that?" Zeda And The Four Princes Of Shadowbrook Academy

Zeda And The Four Princes Of Shadowbrook Academy

She tried to distract herself from the sudden tension by looking at the restaurant. The Gilded Lily lived up to its name. Its exterior was white marble and polished brass, its tall, arching windows gleaming with warm light, exuding an atmosphere of old-world royalty and new-world wealth. It was quite the opposite of The Cozy Corner, the casual place Lucian had taken them to for their date. While The Cozy Corner was a dim, informal hangout, The Gilded Lily was classically elegant and undeniably expensive—the typical place Vyr Machiavelli would pick out.
