Martial Dragon Emperor S2

Martial Dragon Emperor S2

replied the god of death and life with a smile and a small laugh. "What? Dead? How could a god like you die? Aren't you the ruler of life and death? How could you die?" asked Long Chen with a shocked expression. From what he knew, a god like the god of death could not possibly die so easily. But now why was he telling Long Chen that he had died? This was truly unbelievable to Long Chen.

he said to me. “I know, I remember that day,” I said to him. “Of course you do, touched by the gods and all,” he said, spreading his arms dramatically. “Is that a hint of more jealousy I detect?” I asked him. “Absolutely not! I am a god myself!” he said and I smiled again. “The god of what exactly?” I asked him. “Well, I am Death, I can take lives as I want,” he said to me dramatically. “Wrong again, the mistake you made was to think I’m exactly like Kiran and Kai, but I’m not. You’re not a god, you’re Hel’s underling, you follow her orders, so I guess that makes you her little bitch,” I said to him.

Hades' Doctor

Hades' Doctor

His voice rise louder not in rage but aggravation. "What does my present condition have to do with you leaving five years ago?" "I am the god of death." He repeats as in explanation. "So?" This time his eyes smile with its usual light even if it were only fleeting. And in the background that had long lost its colour Will sniffles his laughter being the only one to react to our banter while all others present looked on with a blank face and without judgement as if it were their only way to grant privacy. "My duty as the god of death is to collect and guide the souls of the deceased to the Underworld thus bringing death to all mor

I sigh, attempting to make peace with my lack of knowledge and failing a bit. “Some of the near-Gods are more famous and powerful than others,” Jackson says, a bit absent, getting lost in his thoughts. “Especially the older ones. His two eldest children – and the ones that I think the Goddess your grandmother is most bitter about – are twins. They’re frequently referred to religiously as the God of Death and the Goddess of Life.” “What?” I breathe, fascinated and confused.

I’m totally obsessed with this book! It’s so well written. The characters in this book are so deep and significantly different from one another. It gives this book the depth that most of the novels lack of. Furthermore, the story is interesting, adventurous, funny yet touching or even scary at times

I’ve read quite a few books on here, both completed and in progress, and this author is hands down the best author of them all so far. Her writing is intelligent and well thought out, her chapters vary in length for the story not for the app, and the plots & character arcs are just… fantastic. 11/10

The Divine Undertaker

The Divine Undertaker

Coffin sounded confused. "But I'm not bearing with that family of three!" Caleb growled through his teeth. "Little mistakes can lead to huge blunders, y'know," the Coffin argued, still being reasonable. Caleb kept growling through his teeth, "Oh, but they threatened me! And I will use you to bury anyone who dares threaten me! Why else are you called the Coffin of the Gods? I will first bury humans, and then immortals, and then the world!"

A Queen Among Gods

“Well, you claim to be a God.” “It’s not a claim, it’s a fact,” I correct her. She rolls her stunning eyes at me, “Fine, you’re a God, but you mentioned another God, so how many Gods are there?” “Living?” I clarify. Her eyes open so wide they look ready to explode from the sockets, “Gods can die?!” she exclaims. “We are living beings just as you are. Though we are blessed with immortality, it does not mean we are unkillable, so yes, Gods can die,” I answer matter-of-factly.

I really like this series! It’s original, hot, well written and we get attached to the characters. There’s so many of them tho that I can’t just read without taking notes ... But it doesn’t change the fact that the book is great! Really liked Gabriella and would like to get more on Derrick!

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

At least he could wash his hands of the whole affair and avoid all the troubles that would follow. In the nearest alley, Xena arrived at the scene. Though the thunder had died down, she could sense where it came from with her skills. While she could not confirm it was the God of Death, the sudden thunderclap was definitely suspicious. A figure suddenly darted into the opposite end of the alley. Their eyes met for a split second before the figure charged straight at her. Xena's expression fell as she recognized the old man as the God of Death, who was ranked last among the Thirteen Aces.

The Timer of Death

The Timer of Death

For a moment, the air froze. Xavier's eyes flashed with pure disgust as he gritted his teeth and spat out, "There you go again. You always use death to manipulate me! "You're like a plague, a demon, constantly reminding me about that countdown. God, I'm so sick of it. Honestly, you'd be doing the world a favor if you just died already!" I stood frozen in place, the chill sinking deep into my bones. Yvette leaned against his chest, letting out a soft sigh. Then, she cast a pitying glance at me as if looking at a hopeless lunatic. "Is she threatening you with death again?" she asked. Her voice was syrupy, but her words were like daggers.

“Yes. But unlike mortals who pass on to heaven or hell, when a god dies, we don’t go anywhere. We disappear. We become nothing.” A chill ran through me. “What do you mean by nothing?” “Nothingness,” he repeated, voice barely above a whisper. “No form. No soul. No afterlife. And worse, no memory. Every trace of that god is erased from all realms. It’s as if they never existed at all.” I stared at him, the weight of that truth sinking like stones in my chest. “That’s… a terrible fate.”
