I told myself that it was fine even if I didn’t pick the highest card from the pile as long as my card was decently high enough. “I’ll go with this one,” I announced as I firmly slid the card I had chosen out of the pile. “Flip it over,” Bradon instructed. I stared at the girl, who happens to be seated now. She had the same purple hair as Raven except that Raven’s only has purple highlights while she had a full blown purple short hair.

“Follow me, Valentin. But do not speak of this until we reach the destination. We cannot risk being overheard.” Valentin could follow his queen’s direction and nodded. Though, as he fell into step behind her, he wondered just who her unwelcomed guest could be. He had a few ideas, but none of them were very good. He followed his queen done the stairs of the oldest building on campus to the hidden tunnels very few knew weaved underneath. Following the corridors, we reached a room that was being guarded by four men. As Queen Victoria approached, they stepped to the side, allowing her, and thereby Valentin, entrance.

Her skin seemed undecided about staying in this world. “What have you dragged to my door, wolf-cub?” she rasped. “My cousin,” Kael said, respectful but unafraid. “She needs to be hidden.” Those misted eyes pinned me. “You wish to pass among males unseen.” “Yes.” My voice didn’t shake.

Then her gaze landed on me. I froze. “...What?” “Final round,” she said simply. “If we make it that far, you’re the hidden card. We need to keep an element of surprise. Understood?” My heart slammed against my ribs. “Y-Yes.” Jordan smirked. “Look at our little secret weapon.” Lily elbowed me. “Better practice, hotshot.” I rolled my eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at my lips. Rylin's POV Amy and I walked into her Rouge house. The place was fascinating, pictures of rouges down every hall, pictures of the Alphas and pack names on certain halls. They still identified with their packs even the ones who had been tossed. Then they're was the one hall that stood out the most 'Hidden' is what it said. We turned down that hall and it was pictures of rouge Alpha and Betas starting back from centuries all the way until it led to Davina and Amy's pictures. This place was beautiful, a story on every corner. Something they all can be proud of. If only it was so easy for others. She made this a home for them.
