-EVE- FLASHBACK It was my grandfather’s funeral. It was the first time I met Janet. Yet, in her living room, she blamed my mother for my grandfather’s death. “You did this,” She said. Her voice carried. “Your drinking. Your scenes. And now you want to take my granddaughter.” “I want what's best for Eve,” Mom said. “Best?” She laughed. “You can't keep a husband. You can't keep a job. You think you can keep her?”

The head maid said, looking at Eve from head to toe. "Don't look at that.Just do what Mr Travis wants. She probably needs the money for her family." Butch explained. And also, she's a weird one so her family must have sent her here because they were probably fed up" Butch said, looking at Eve before whispering to the head maid. Eve just stood behind Butch silently, watching the both of them. She felt like snapping their head off, but because of what she came there to do she just had to keep mute.

He was standing there, so Eve immediately turned around to run in the opposite direction. Her eyes were only on the window she had left open, so she ran to it. "Evangeline!" Axel yelled when he saw Eve standing by the window. Her hands held the trellis while she let one leg stick out as if preparing to jump from there. Eve was surprised by what she did. Her eyes bulged as she looked at the mansion's bush-filled courtyard. If she fell there, then she would kill herself. Well, maybe she won't die, but she'll be badly injured and probably be disabled for life. Then, what about her baby?

"I did and she's under my command!" she replied with a curt. "Make sure that puppy licks only your feet, Eve. Once you made a single mistake, we're all going down. Do you understand?" he was disgruntled at her decision. "Señior Madrigal, if you don't believe in me, can I just get out of your filthy sleazy grip then?" Eve stressed out while clinging the phone on her mouth.

Elvin said, ascending the stairs with her. Eve laughed. "You got that right." On entering the plane, Eve's phone beeped, and she looked at it to see it was a text from Lisa, also known as Ann, her stepsister. She opened the text, which read: Congratulations on your victory. You retain sole right to being the head of the family. Eve grinned and whispered, "You're damn right." Eve gave the departure order, and the engines whined. The plane slowly moved, and broke into a run, and in no time, they were airborne.
