The Hunt For Lycan Queen Novels & Stories

"Malphas is leaving. Escort them out. The treaty is signed and bound by blood." "Gladly," I mutter, standing up to my full height, letting my massive frame cast a shadow over the room. Cillian pushes off the pool table, sharply straightening the lapels of his designer jacket. "A pleasure as always, Prince," he sneers softly. "Enjoy your victory. And your human. I hope she's worth the price of admission." Little does he know she is no mere human, she is the Lycan Queen of Legend, one day she will lead us all.

Isla's plan made sense if we could build up an army of true Moon Goddess followers Zeeb won't stand a chance. “The prophecy of the Lycan King begins.” Isla smiled.

CHAPTER 6 - ELARIS OR LYSARA “Yeah, according to the crone. The only way to cure the blight is by ingesting the blood of a lycan, given freely.” The whole room goes silent. “Is this a trap or something?” I ask slowly. Cody looks uneasy. “I don’t think so.” Michael says, “We have to give it a try, what other choice do we have.” “Where are we going to find a Lycan that would be willing to do that?” Melody asks.

There are some vampires fighting with their own kinds while my pack are fighting the werewolves, but I can't see the Lycan Queen with them. I gritted my teeth before I turned to face Lory, not looking at the vampire who was eyeing me. I'll deal with her later. "Bring her inside the cave and hide!" I told Lory. "I'll look for the Lycan Queen." I didn't say anything more as I left them in that place to look around. I tried to follow the Lycan Queen's scent and it directed me to a dark spot of the forest. What could she be doing here?

Kelissa insisted, her eyes showing some onyx shades despite her parents’ surprised looks when Greg mentioned things that were not discussed with any advisor. Greg raised his eyebrows at the heiress’s interruption, and reminded himself that he was going to be there for only another few more minutes at most. The Duke gritted his teeth, and said in a low voice, “If you read the news properly, Kylton, you’d know that she is one of us now. She’s a Lycan. She’s the Lycan Queen.” At that very moment, the door fell off its hinges as it burst open.

He sighs deeply, and I’m reminded of how he instinctively knows what’s going on in my mind. I’m still trying to get used to all of it. To the idea that I’m one of them. I’m not just a human. I’m actually the queen of the Lycans. But how can you be a queen without a kingdom? We pull into the driveway at home and I look out at the forest. “I know it is early days, but we have a pack hunt tonight. Would you like to go with us?” Silas surprises me, and I am instantly drawn out from under my dark cloud.

Another lunged for a cluster of villagers near the well, females and children too slow to have taken cover. Zane didn’t think. He moved. We hit the Rogue midair, teeth closing around its throat. The body fell limp at our paws, the fight gone from it instantly. And that’s when the villagers saw me. The storm light caught on my fur, golden streaked with shadows, massive and terrible. The power of the Lycan King pulsing around me. Recognition swept through the villagers. A few fell to their knees. Others just stared, mouths open, horror and awe tangled together.

Everyone is ready for a fight. “We are not each other’s enemies!” I yell above the sound of the growling lycans. I push Lucian out of the way and step in front of Erebus looking the bearded hunter in the eyes. “I am not your enemy.” I tell him as I stare deeply into his light brown eyes. “I am Ella Lyall, Luna Queen of Lycan City and I am not your enemy.”

Caleb listened with the partial attention of someone waiting to find out why he had actually been summoned. Then Fenn, with the practiced casualness of someone who had been building toward something, said: "You hear about the Lycan court lately?" "What about it?" Caleb said. "New Queen," Fenn said. "Not new in terms of it just happening, I suppose, it has been building for a while. But the formal announcement went wide recently. Noble houses are all talking about it." He adjusted something on his cart. "Stunning woman, from what people are saying. Young. Has three children already, some kind of ancient bloodline that the court has been looking for years apparently."

He was sure the leeches were just gathering resources and will attack anytime. "We are coming for you. Let's get your family to safety." At last, tomorrow was promised for the Lycan Kingdom. The Lycan Queen was born at last. ______________________
