The young woman trembled, her whole body shaking from fear. “Why don’t you let her go and deal with me instead?” Hunter said, his voice calm but with an edge. As he spoke, he subtly signaled to one of his teammates, silently instructing him to rescue the reporter. “We can work this out,” Hunter continued, taking a step forward. “You don’t need to drag an innocent person into this.” His left hand was tucked behind his back, hiding the knife he gripped tightly. The man smirked, shaking his head. “Don’t even try it. I’m not falling for your tricks!”

“Hunter? What was my code?” Hunter turned around and looked straight in her eyes, “ The code is: One. Two. Three. Four.”
