The Exemplary Husband Novels & Stories

Of course, that would only happen under the pretext that the man giving the speech was not my husband. Philippa took over the microphone. With a catch in her throat, she began praising Jason for being her mentor in her career. She said the last time her father's company was in crisis, he was the one who pulled strings, mobilized connections, and raised emergency funds overnight. "Meeting a man like him is the greatest blessing in my life." A wave of nausea rose in my chest looking at their pretentious performance. They used my connections, killed my child, yet they were playing the sweet lovers without any regards of others.

Episode 1 My husband is the best man any woman will love to have. He's a fair, tall and handsome man. Faithful, loving, caring and understanding. Albeit, our wedding night was awkward. I laid on the bed waiting for him to join me ‘cause I promised to satisfy him to the fullest.

"Well, I had nothing when I met her. Through all the ups and downs over the years, she held my hand and never let go. She deserves all the love!" "Gosh! Why can't I get such a good husband? Dad! Why is everyone else's husband perfect but mine? Look at this book! This woman killed three people, yet her six-foot-tall, eight-pack, deep-voiced, sharp-eyed, ready-to-kill-anyone-for-her husband worships the ground she walks on. But why did I get that—" "Travis is 6'2", has eight packs, doesn't like tattoos, but if you want, he might consider one. And obviously, he’d kill anyone who touches you. Don't you know that?"

Wiping away her tears, Hilda proceeded, "I believe each and every one of you are curious about who my husband is and are wondering whether it's true that he is an old and unattractive coal boss. Right now, I can tell you that my husband is a young and handsome man. He is also the kindest and best man I have ever met in my life! He is at the scene today, but I couldn't announce his identity because I don't think I deserve it!" She doesn't deserve him? Everyone was puzzled. The champion of the institution's Miss Misty Pageant, the most excellent belle in the whole city, is not worthy? Is her husband that powerful? Upon hearing that, Nathan knitted his brows. But he heard Hilda continue to say,

That was what he aimed for; put her to sleep then return to his resting corner. "Married; to a good and understanding husband, have a good job; I've always wanted to be a nurse. To save lives. Have a small cozy home, I personally don't like big houses, and four kids, two boys, and two girls," she whispered with her eyes closed. He had totally forgotten about that. "How do you define a good husband?" "Someone who strives to make ends meet, Cherishes his family, and motivates his spouse when she feels like giving up."

Only his voice filled the space, deeply, resolutely, and thunderously Thalia’s heart pounded so loudly she thought the cameras could hear it. His grip on her hand tightened, and became possessive, almost painful, yet she didn’t flinch. “I love my wife,” he continued, his tone softening just a fraction, though the intensity remained. “And she loves me dearly. Just because we made our marriage public doesn’t mean we’ve become your entertainment, and so therefore you all can be a part of our affairs. If any more rumours are spread like this…” His gaze turned icy as it swept across the room, “I won’t overlook it.”

Emma paused the video and stared at her husband's face frozen on the screen. He looked terrified. Not guilty. Not angry. Terrified. That realization unsettled her more than anything else. For two days, she'd convinced herself that Daniel was living a secret life with another woman and child. The evidence certainly pointed that way. But now... Now something wasn't adding up. A man having an affair didn't usually look like that. A cheating husband didn't talk about people dying if the truth came out. There was something much bigger hidden beneath the surface. Something dangerous.

"Some folks just have all the luck, don't they?" "That poor lady in room three, it's been days and her husband hasn't even peeked in!" "Not like Mr. Smith. He's so worried about his wife. Even after the doctors said she's fine, he stayed in the hospital for three whole days!" "Mr. Smith's always on the move, cooking meals every day, spoon-feeding her with such sweetness. It's almost too much!" "You've got to be careful choosing a husband. You want someone like Mr. Smith – handsome, strong and really loves his wife…"

As the water rolled down his well-built chest, it didn't miss a chance in amazing Jayda. "Will you stop staring at me?" He smirked. "What? Can't I appreciate the fact that I'm damn lucky to have such a hot dude as my husband." She wiggled her eyebrows, laying on her side with her elbow on the bed and her chin was plopped on her palm. "Of course you are. Haven't you seen how this hot model of a husband works out? These babies aren't just for staring." He boasted, kissing his arms. He folded his arms across his chest then flexed his muscles, for show off.

he groaned and stroked his ponytail. He was the husband to Opula, the first daughter of the Fanny’s. Ken was tall, well-built with strong facial features. He was a live-in husband, just like the other husbands, who found no fault in being taken care of by their billionaire father-in-law. “Same story every day. Opula is not enjoying it anymore,” she glowered, snorted, nagged and added, “You are always impossible.” Her nostrils flared and eyes lined with insatiability.
