Coming from Adrian Whitmore, those words sounded ironic no matter how I looked at them.
I placed the invitation on the coffee table and leaned back on the couch, thinking for a long time.
Should I go?
Logically, I should.
If I did not go, it would look like I could not let go. If I went, it would make me seem generous.
But truthfully, I had no interest in their wedding at all.
I picked up my phone and sent Adrian a message.
"I received the invitation. Congratulations."
This time, he replied quickly.
"Will you come?"
