The Immortal Tree Novels & Stories

She pressed her forehead to mine and whispered words I didn't understand at first. It was a ritual called 'The Soul Forge'. A ritual that could transfer immortality from one person to another. I felt it the moment it happened. Warmth flooded my body, burning away the poison, healing the wound. Power settled into my bones—ancient, terrible, eternal power. I gasped, my eyes flying open. "What did you do?" "I saved you," Annitore whispered. "You're immortal now, Owaine. Nothing can kill you." "No—you can't—" I grabbed her shoulders. "You have to take it back. I can't—"

“I guess it is to be expected. Every one eventually comes to fear death.” “Impossible! I am Immortal!” Berlak declared, eyes glowing with rebellion. “I am a god. I cannot die. This is but a vessel. A pathetic and weak vessel. You may end it now but I will come back in the next and I will hunt you down. I swear it by Grivit. I will find you and I will kill you. I will bring to you the fear of death…” now he was rambling, spittle and blood spilling with each word… “and when I’m done with you every one will understand my power. I am a god and you are nothing but a puny mor—”

Three witches stepped through cautiously, their staffs already glowing with defensive magic. Last to cross was the immortal. The moment he stepped into the realm, the air itself seemed to recognize him. The ground pulsed. The strange cosmic wind went still. Seraphine noticed. “So it knows you,” she said quietly. The immortal didn’t answer immediately. His ancient eyes scanned the endless horizon. “Yes,” he said finally. “This realm remembers everything.” Seraphine turned slowly. Before them stretched a sight that stole the breath from everyone present. A city. But not a normal city.

I rolled my eyes and retorted, "You're a shriveled up, old hag now, so it makes sense that you don't understand what a privilege it is to serve the divine tree. I'll definitely satisfy it. You agree with me, don't you, Mr. Holton?" Isaac nodded vigorously. Using the saplings around us as cover, he ran his greasy hand along my thigh. The woman's face turned a ruddy red when she realized that she couldn't win the argument against me. She lowered her head and continued working. I scoffed. Joy bubbled in my heart when I thought of all the rumors about the divine tree. Our village was located in the east of a massive mountain. A forest stood in the mountain. The trees were so tall that they disap

Blade shrugged but that wasn't his business at the moment. Mr. Williams annoyed by his words, raised his stick and hit Blade on the head, "What's even strange is how a human who got the immortal punishment seduced s fairy and made her do unimaginable things. Maybe I should have just made your face ugly as your punishment then" Mr. Williams glared at Blade who shrugged.

The hardening between his legs, the way his fangs elongated just from her scent, alerted him to just how inviting she was to him. She felt it to. The heavy scent of her arousal wafted towards him, pungent yet sweet. Ripples of desire washed over her flesh, cheeks flushing. Yet, she denied it. Of course she would. They had only just met. Being immortal, Malik had learned long ago that life was fleeting. It was best to simply take what you wanted, when you wanted it. But with Annabelle, Malik found himself unable to take what he desired from her. He ached to hear words of acceptance fall from her tongue. Until that moment, he would do nothing to break her.

Then, they both walked, deeper and deeper into the forest, crossing rivers and passing some fairy settlements until they reached a very huge tree, with what appears to be a cocoon made by the entwining tree branches, hanging in the middle. He motioned Ricky to enter the cocoon by climbing the protruding branches that created a flight of steps. Ricky hesitantly followed what Noel said and climbed the steps while also peering the ground once in a while. He sighed in relief when they finally reached. He thought that the stairs made of branches were much more scarier than the moving stone stairs in the study room. He entered the cocoon. “Greetings.”

He's an Earth immortal afterall. I went to the bathroom and sat in the water. I steamed it with my power and started thinking. Is it really an infatuation? What if Ella sacrifices herself just like Aster did? What would happen when she finds out she's our Target? What if....? I kept rummaging my brain for an answer but couldn't find one. Suddenly, I felt a chilling breeze and the water froze instantly. I was caught in the middle of the ice as shackles covered my legs.

Jeremy being quiet all through stepped forward and said, "I have. I've learnt about it." Now all attention was transferred from Alisa to him, so he went on, "During my search for my mother's death I came across I think this, in a book. It explained of a real immortal first noticed I think a thousand or two years ago. No weapon has been discovered to kill a real immortal." "Great, that means I can go and kill that bitch right away," William said. "Not just yet Willie," Alisa held his hand. "Stygian is ancient, smarter and the most powerful of all witches. And if she knows you're alive she'll find a way to put you down, us along."

They were the true warriors. Their ashes were buried and a tree sprang forth from that spot. This is known as Az élet faja, the Tree of Life. It was protected by the remainder of the ancient witches until the age of the High Witch and the Witch Council. The witches protect this tree with their lives; they know that this is their sole chance of survival. The sacrifice of their brothers cannot be in vain.
