There was another down the road, a smaller one, less known.
He continued down the road. He was in luck, the inn was half empty. Albin entered. The innkeeper looked up from his barrel of pickles and measured him from head to toe.
"What do you want?" the innkeeper asked. "As usual, if I am not mistaken."
"Yes," the sorcerer replied.
"In a jiffy, you know me," the innkeeper smiled.
"After all these years, who doesn't," the sorcerer returned the smile.
He found a faraway table to sit. Moments later, the innkeeper came and served him the meal. Eggs and bacon burnt black,
