The King's Gamma Novels & Stories

Then she paused briefly before leaning in and softly briefing her. “The Alpha King’s loyal men are key. Focus on his Beta and Gamma. The tall, broad man with white streaks in his hair? That’s Osman, his Beta. He tends to be more approachable and... gentler than others. People mention he was the King’s closest confidant before Alpha King Gavriel ascended the throne. Gamma Simon is in charge of coordinating the scouting teams, but he appears moody." Melva glanced around. "And the others? Mostly quiet, obedient, and detached. They don’t speak unless spoken to. They’re wary of you.”

She rolled her eyes at his words while continuing to pick the glass out of her wound, however I did notice the slight tense in her body. "Our dungeon, your grace, is currently full." Alpha Adrian stated meeting the kings eyes before subtly grasping hold of his mate Jaba’s hand. I only noticed the action myself because I was seated next to his opposite side. “If that is the case then perhaps a public execution is overdue.” The newly appointed Gamma, Warren stated, we learnt about him in school the week before the kings arrival, he was new to the role and we were told to memorize everything we could about him. Luckily the old Gamma was promoted to beta, so most of the districts already knew of

After all, if we could find reason enough, the King could demand the pack to reveal all of their secrets or face the King's army. "Alpha Fin" stated the wolf who lead us to the packhouse. "I present Alpha Cyrus Astor and Beta Dante Clifford of the Golden Moon pack." I looked at each person's face to assess their emotions determined to find their tells. Those on the lower step showed interest in who we were. The Golden Moon pack was the King's pack after all. His royal court and warriors predominantly came from them. Being Alpha and the King's next of kin, I was also next in line for the throne. Our presence didn't seem to phase the Alpha and Luna. Their faces were passive showing no em

They have to since they’re second in command. “My name is Jareth,” he says. “General beta of all Eboncrest and second in command.” Just as I thought. “If you have a problem and cannot reach the king, you come to me,” he continues. “If you cannot reach me, then you go to Khaisha.” I turn toward her, but she looks away, suddenly uncomfortable. “She is the gamma,” Jareth adds. “Third in command.” My heart stutters. She’s the king’s gamma? The same gamma this entire celebration is being held for?

"Have you met the Cardinal?" A nod. "Who is this?" He looks at Elma. "The king's beta—" "Move him back to the holding cell." Elma says, gesturing the guards to grab Haze. "Leave him," I order the guards. They freeze immediately. "Leave this room." They leave immediately. Haze's eyes are wide for a moment, before narrowing down on me. 'Your Majesty, this is beyond—' Elma starts. "My turn," is all I say as I face Haze again. 'Why are you trying to kill the king?' I shake my head. 'How can you kill the king?'

Tobias’ lips parted, but the King continued absently. “Give it to this one,” he said, and Tryan pushed Gamma Jackson forward, out of the shadow of the trees, stepping out behind the Lightmoon shifter. The Gamma’s eyes were on Marian. Tobias growled low and deep. His gaze had snapped to the three who had stepped out from between the trees and then snapped back to the Alpha King. “You are free to bring it yourself if you prefer,” the King quipped, raising an eyebrow as a small, sarcastic smile graced his lips.

I turned it open, expecting a servant, but instead I was met with a royal. He had not come to Vargen’s chamber before, but I had seen him sometimes in the council meetings. He was the King’s Gamma, his auburn hair like copper coins and light green eyes like pale leaves. “My lord.” I bowed as I greeted, praying he would not strike me for looking him in the eye. “You may rise.” He spoke gently, surprising me. “Walkh.” Vargen rose to his feet as the royal walked in, I lifted my head to see his brows drawn slightly. “What is the matter?”

I Before the Alpha King could enter the emergency room, a female nurse was able to immediately grabs a lab coat and handed it to the naked Alpha King. "Thanks," the Alpha King said simply after wearing the white lab coat. He then walks straight to the Emergency room where he saw Gamma Reden, walking to and pro. Restless. "Gamma Reden, how is my wife?" he asked outright, worries cast on his face. The Gamma looks at his Alpha King gloomily. "She is still in the operating room, my Alpha King. The bullet almost hit her bosom. It was just a matter of a space like hay."

He thought he had hidden enough, but he couldn't believe that his eyes had accused out. Jame's hands clenched my neck, despite the thin skin peeling off. I made a successful bet. Jame had a love for King David. He's a brave Alpha and will fall in love with another Alpha. Or rather, he's just like me. It's all alpha masquerading, not purebred wolves. I realized this every time the king invaded the territory. James alone is allowed to take care of David. He kicks everyone out. More importantly, every time looks at David, Jame always exudes cheerful pride. It is not the same as the feeling of worshiping the superior.

I frowned, finding this whole scrutiny an insult for someone like Alpha King Daxton, who was already known to them. Folding my arms, I asked, "Alpha Alpha King Daxton is the king of Ironveil. Does he still need to undergo this?" Deidra responded gently, "The Alpha insisted on it. He wants everyone to undergo the same treatment when they visit Central Ironveil in the future." I nodded, silently impressed with Alpha King Daxton’s smartness. But a darker thought curled at the edges of my mind. This truce between us... it felt fragile. Too fragile.
