The Fate of the Moon

The Fate of the Moon

Looking up at her with my jaw clenched in anger, I can’t decide whether I should be turned on or thoroughly pissed off. Lucinda glares down at me, but there’s something off about the look in her eyes. The corner of her lips twitch as if she’s trying to hold back a smile. Her eyes are glowing as bright as the moon and her chest is heaving up and down. Is she turned on? No. There’s no way! I push these thoughts away almost as fast as they entered my mind. Come on, Emeric, this isn’t the time to be thinking such thoughts! I chastise myself.

She felt a kinship with Olivia, as if they shared a similar perspective. "I did make a quick stop at the library to pick something up," Ruby explained, tapping the cover of the book she held in her hands. Olivia glanced at the title. "'The Night Sky'?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, it's a book about constellations, galaxies, and moons. Basically, astronomy," Ruby replied with a smile, patting a hand over the cover of the book.

The moon rocks lost luna

The moon rocks lost luna

He allowed a subtle pulse of Solstice to thread through the clearing, reinforcing her guidance, mirroring her warmth, an invisible echo of presence that strengthened the pack’s cohesion. As the sun rose higher, casting the forest in pale gold and green, Lyra felt a gentle pull in her mind—the faint, silvery thread of the Moon Goddess reaching through the veil of day. It was a quiet nudge, reminding her that guidance could come in unexpected forms, that shadows carried lessons as well as light. She allowed herself a brief pause, closing her eyes just for a moment, and felt the thread wind around her consciousness, teaching, shaping, whispering what must be done next. The Goddess did not speak

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing. To Cassandra, it was the most beautiful handwriting she had ever seen. She felt the urge to trace her fingers over the inked pages. There were pictures of herbs, flowers, roots, and seeds. There were also diagrams and drawings of astronomy. Some of them with suns, moons, and stars, or symbols for the zodiacal constellations: two fish for Pisces, a bull for Taurus, a hunter with a crossbow for Sagittarius, and so on. Each of these had female figures arranged in two or more concentric bands. Mos

Unveiling The Vampire's Omega (Bound By Blood Freed By Love)

My reflection shimmered with uncertainty, and the thought of confronting the Luna Goddess sent a shiver coursing through me, an icy tendril of fear gripping my core. At the center of the grand chamber within the palace, the Luna Goddess awaited, her presence radiating warmth and power. She stood as a beacon of light, her gown flowing like liquid moonlight, adorned with shimmering constellations that sparkled against the fabric. Her eyes, deep and endless, held the wisdom of the ages, reflecting the hopes and dreams of every soul who had ever sought her guidance.

GIL AN THE CURSED ALPHA

Some murmured among themselves, trying to understand what was happening to the Moon Goddess. The Celestial Seer, enveloped in a halo of golden light, rose gracefully and approached the Moon Goddess. Every step she took resonated with a gentle tinkling, as if she were walking on a path of stars. Her dress, woven with threads of silver and adorned with gleaming gems, seemed to sway to a celestial melody. As she drew near, the Seer extended her hands towards the Moon Goddess, radiating a magical energy that filled the air. Her voice echoed in the celestial hall, full of calm and wisdom.

[With the blessing of Our Mother, Hecate, in honor of the noble Moon Goddess, Selene. Please hear my words and weave them into the stars. Let the legend of Iokaste Latmus live forever.]” When she’s finished, she claps her hands above her. The motion creates a ringing boom that sounds like a deep gong. When she opens her hands again, a light blue light emanates from her palms into the sky. Everyone oohs and ahhs, as the sky looks like it is full of shooting stars. When it stops, all the constellat

I am so glad we get for of Kas and Bronx and all their friends. The storytelling is exciting and the characters are complex and evolving. There is quite a cast of characters but the author does an amazing job of introducing them and only including necessary information so that you are not confused.

What a cliffhanger. You are an amazing writer. The series would make a highly rated movie. I would love it, only if they would let Neener Beener write the script. Others commented on the research and it's amazing. Does anyone know if this series is available in paperback? I need to buy 6 books.......

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

In the center, on a raised pedestal, lay a magnificent tome bound in ethereal materials, its pages shimmering. Dupree, in awe, whispered, "The Celestial Codex." Approaching the tome, a rush of emotions flooded me. Grief, hope, determination. With trembling hands, I opened the Codex. The pages were filled with intricate symbols, shifting constellations, and detailed diagrams of various realms. Lysandra, leaning in to study a particular page, said, "Here. This realm... it's resonating with the same energy as the vortex. I believe this is where Seraphina is."

The library, bathed in the soft glow of the enchanted crystals, stood witness to a moment that transcended the boundaries of time.

“That’s what the warriors saw?” “It is….” As the anger grew, his eyebrow raised up. “There weren’t reports of those machines.” Piercy showed me a particular one that made my skin crawl. “This is used to keep the woman open for multiple men. Tell me that didn’t happen to you?”

Oh, where do I even begin with 'The Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics'? This book absolutely swept me off my feet with its blend of historical romance and scientific ambition. The way Olivia Waite writes about two women finding love while navigating the rigid expectations of the 19th century is both tender and fierce. The protagonist, Lucy, is this brilliant astronomer who refuses to let society dictate her passion, and Catherine, the widow she works for, has this quiet strength that slowly unravels into something breathtaking.

What really got me was the meticulous research behind the astronomy details—it made the story feel grounded even as it soared. The emotional payoff is incredible, too; it’s not just about the romance but about claiming space in a world that tries to erase you. If you’re into historical fiction with heart, this one’s a gem. I still catch myself smiling at certain scenes months later.
