As my body bucks against the throne, something shifts in Vega's expression and her eyes take on a look of genuine fear as she gazes in my direction.

She says before the sounds of something falling and Jessica letting out a soft curse follow. “Princess, is everything okay?” I ask, worried about her getting hurt. “Yeah. I found the greenhouse you mentioned earlier today and decided I needed to actually choose things from the store to start gardening in it. That was a bag of dirt falling over and making a mess.” She explains with a sigh, and I chuckle, wanting nothing more than to pull up the app and see what sort of mess was made. “Don’t work too hard, Princess. You can leave the heavy lifting to me.” I state, and I meant every word. My Princess does not need to work so hard with me there for her.

Chills coat my arms with the way Gold tooth looks at me. "What about you pretty little dragon? Do you want to play?" He asks me. I violently shake my head no. When he gets closer to me; I spit on him. My dragon is pissed. She paces back and forth trying to fight the spell holding her back. She's praying these stupid fuckers take off these handcuffs. As soon as they do; she's gonna kill them.

"Repeat to me what you saw!" I roared, my voice echoing through the dim light of my study as I hurled my cup against the wall, shattering it into a thousand shards. The atmosphere buzzed with tension. "I-I saw her eyes glow purple, master," stuttered one of my warriors, the fear palpable in his voice. I had infiltrated the princess's life to monitor her transformation, and now it was happening—her powers awakening, alongside the great dragon bound to her. Finally, I had found her!

I growled internally. "Mate…." She whispered as I looked at her gaze like she was staring at me. "You are Dragon Alice." She nodded her head, looking scared. She cringed at me because of my aura. I halted at a distance so she could stop trembling. I had never seen a dragon so fearful; they were always fearless and arrogant assholes that I knew. "How do you know my name? Also, you're not human," she stuttered. "I am a warlock and the Last Prince of the Black Magic Clan. Also, I know the name you mentioned in your interview form," I sighed at her naïve question. Her eyes widened in surprise.

She hyper-focused, and it became her obsession to find out everything. "Please tell me. What is he?" Abel pinched the tip of his nose before meeting her eyes. A strange look crossed his face. "Why are you suddenly so interested?" She shrugged in response. "He's a dragon. Fire dragon. The last of his kind. There is a rumour that he killed every single one of his people to have an eternal life. We have been trying to get inside the Castle and save the humans inside." Her mouth dropped open at that. A fire dragon? Celina thought those creatures were a fragment of imaginations and existed merely in books. Does that mean what she saw days ago near that well was real? It was a dragon.
