"Ms. Paulina, I’m Jasmine Hanzo, and I have stumbled upon secrets, mysteries that have brought me here. I long to unravel their meaning, to understand the hidden tensions and unseen struggles that have been revealed to me. Can you guide me on this journey?" Her smile deepened, a twinkle of recognition in her gaze. "Ah, dear Jasmine, thou hast ventured upon the threshold of a realm surpassing the mundane. I discern the flickering flame of curiosity ablaze within thee. Fret not, for I shall be thy compass. Together, we shall unearth the truths concealed within the pages of this wondrous library." Encouraged by Ms. Paulina's reassuring words, I felt a newfound confidence surging within me. This

The Liberal Assassin

The Liberal Assassin

Despite having people around me as the Night Walker and as Titus Crowley, I felt that I didn’t belong anywhere with how easily I was replaced just like the new occupant in my old room. Strolling along the corridor didn’t make me feel any better but I found myself staring at the library entrance after a while. It was a subconscious thing but my fondest memories were spent here. As it was late, there wasn’t anyone in it. Walking over to the physical archives, I smiled at the spot I always sat in to read. Mrs Peterman was the only other person who loved the library as much as I did and knew where to find me when the investigators lost me.

The Twelve Scions

The Twelve Scions

Looking at it with his newfound knowledge, Lars couldn't believe the mountain of white buildings before him turned out to secretly housing a mystical pyramid structure underneath all that civilization. The hidden pyramid was called the Librarium of Records, and as the name suggested, was said to hold every records of every single thing that exists or happening in the world. The known and the unknown. It was traditionally guarded by the Scion of Castor - Pollux as its sole librarian. There was a tinge of melancholy that Lars felt seeing the white city before him, thinking of how Sophia used to be and supposed to be there. Wilhelmina held up her talisman. "Mistress, we're outside."

Dumped, Because His "HER" Is Back

Dumped, Because His "HER" Is Back

The cavern was a chaos of blue light and ozone. The "Librarian" scrambled back, clutching his charred hand, his face twisting from a mask of aristocratic calm into one of frantic desperation. He had spent decades playing God with the lives of children, but he had never accounted for the one variable he couldn't control: a woman who had been underestimated for far too long. "Kill them!" the Librarian shrieked, but his voice was drowned out by the thunder of Sarah’s Vanguard team.

Her Possessive Alpha

Her Possessive Alpha

Cian set out to complete his assignment while the others were busy deliberating on how to best bring down Fillip and Vulcan without going to outright war. "Alpha Lucas, these are the men you asked for." Cian came in while three men trailed behind him. Lucas looked at the three men thoroughly and saw the spy that had just returned from the dawn house. He nodded and asked Cian if he had briefed them on their assignment at the enemy camp. "Yes, I have," he replied. "Good," Lucas said. He was about to dismiss the men when he quickly remembered a very important detail he wanted the spies to handle. "I need you also to steal the book of Moonlight infantry and find out how their soldiers are paid,"

Tonight, she needed answers that lived beyond reason. At the base of the final stair, she found the heavy door. She pushed it open slowly, the hinges creaking like a groan from the earth itself. Inside, the librarian was waiting. He was impossibly old — his hair long and white as bone, his eyes dim but alert. His name was Eldritch, the keeper of the archives, said to have served three Alphas before Kilian. He didn’t seem surprised to see her. “I wondered when you’d come,” he rasped, his voice echoing softly off the stone. “They always come when the world begins to burn.”

Mated to Three : Alphas Fight for Me

Mated to Three : Alphas Fight for Me

That piece of information was crucial because it linked the artist to the Sorceress but Evander had said otherwise. So now the big question is, who is right and who is wrong? The air is thick with a sense of urgency as I return to the library. The librarian looks up from a book and his eyes sparkle in the dull yellow light of the lamp hanging above his desk. He does not rise though, I do not expect him to. He is an old man and getting up is hard on his knees. He flashes me a warm smile and his eyes crinkle with laughter. "Back so soon?"

Secret Spy in High School

Secret Spy in High School

Hestia said and continued with scanning the documents and trying to pinpoint the location at which the pictures of Freya were taken. After that, they packed up and went back to their dorm rooms. They have done enough of what they can do and would send those files into the organisation for them to see what they can do on their part. It is also agreeable that the files can also be used for the mission of the other spies— whether they be a senior, junior or just a rookie like them. After that, Hestia proceeded in doing her other homeworks and also took her time to read in advance of the lesson for her class. She went to the library which was surprisingly silent. Of course, libraries are suppose

THE LUNA HE NEVER WANTED

THE LUNA HE NEVER WANTED

“The next time this happens, I want a report with his head on a golden platter.” “I'll pass the message along,” Kael assured me. Then he continued. “Then she went into the library and broke into the restricted archive section–” She broke into the restricted archive section? I think I have an idea where this was leading to. “–and one of our spies had to distract the Librarian on duty till she was done with her search.” “What was she searching for?” “The spies are not certain, but they know she found a book containing a record of Pure Moon's history.”

I read this book in like 2 days. it's definitely worth the read, some of the scenarios were drawn out a little longer than I personally would have liked but the characters are well defined, lots of character growth and a wonderful ending

Love and pain

Love and pain

The room froze. Immediately. Seraphine's eyes narrowed. "You remember that?" Noah nodded. "Maya never explained it." Another pause. "She just said every system has someone who protects the truth buried underneath it." The apartment fell silent. Because somehow— that sounded exactly like the kind of thing an analyst would discover while digging too deep. Daniel frowned. "So we're looking for a creepy secret librarian now?" Nobody answered. Mostly because that description wasn't entirely wrong. Lyra turned back toward the laptop.
