The Little Mafia Boss

The Little Mafia Boss

I lift the pizza boxes up to make him see what I'm holding. "Someone ordered a dozen pieces of pizzas, Sir. The address says it's in this block." "Are you sure?" He asks again. "Is there a name on it?" I grope my pant pockets to find again the piece of paper. When I finally found it, I lifted it up to read what's written. "It says Little Boss..." I read it out loud. "Oh, he's inside the auction room. I think his bodyguards are waiting outside just at the right side of the hotel. You can just leave them there."

she replied. “Well, Mademoiselle, there's only one place in Paris where you can find whatever your heart desires. I suggest the magnificent Champs Elysees," answered Pierre. “It's probably the most famous street in France. And take my word for it, it's a paradise for shoppers.” “Great,” replied Kate as she fastened her seatbelt and prepared herself for Pierre‘s erratic driving style.

You can recognize good book from few pages. Paul White created amazing story with a soft touch of his own soul. The book is real deal! You can't stop reading it. Waiting for the second chapter, which I believe could bring even more action, love and adventures.

LOOK ME IN THE HEART

LOOK ME IN THE HEART

“Would you stop, please? I mean… What are you going to do next? What are you going to do now that you’ve got your life back?” He shrugged, even as his thoughts flew to the apartment he’d rented in the Marais district across the river, the most fashionable district in Paris, famous for old-world charm, narrow cobblestone streets, hidden courtyards, and tranquil gardens, a multitude of mansions called ‘hôtels particuliers’, and a thriving gallery and cafe culture. His sister hadn’t seen it yet. It had been hell holding her off, and he would have to tell her his plans soon, but Fabien wasn’t ready for her disapproval yet. He was still coming to terms with his own audacity himself.

21: Piecing All Together (1.1) AT THAT SAME MOMENT, Lei was chilling on a monoblock chair with a book in his left hand. On the book's front cover, says "Life is meaningless" with a majestic bold and italic golden font. Despite the fact that there's dust and cobwebs hovered all around him, he was able to maintain an elegant and graceful demeanor. On his face, was a slight, relaxing smile.

He grinned like a Cheshire cat, then laughed. “Ok, what is this place called?” I asked. “Café Rouge, it is a nice place with a bookshop at the front. So you can go in and sit in the coffee shop reading your sappy romantic novels,” He said, “That is the only information that you need right now,” He added. How does he know what I read? My taste in books has changed since I last saw him. “How do you know what I read?” I asked, feeling slightly on edge.

Entangle Me

Entangle Me

The crunch, the explosion of flavours and herbs, the freshness is sublime. Afterwards, we grab a coffee to go and keep exploring the rest of Le Marais. He takes me to Place des Vosges, a lovely preserved square. There's so much life, energy, and history entrenched here. I cannot get enough of window shopping all the boutiques and small specialty shops selling just about everything I can think of. I love Paris and if I'm to be honest, I'm glad to be exploring it with Tristan. Even though he's been keeping a respectable distance from me, he always walks slightly behind with a hand close behind my back, and I feel safe in his presence. Okay, I'll admit it. I want to be with him. I like being wi

The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

The soft groan of wood rang out in the quiet bookstore as Lena turned over the last sign on the door: **CLOSED**. Outside, the city drew a breath, illuminated by amber streetlights and the quiet rumble of passing cars. Within, the world held its breath. Warm. Intimate. Holy.

Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival

Married To My Ex-Husband’s Rival

Suzanne’s pov: Paris at night was like a dream. A dangerous, beautiful dream I wasn’t sure I wanted to wake up from. After dinner, Dominic led me through more winding streets, past street performers, artists, and charming little shops. The cool night air carried the scent of fresh bread and coffee, mingling with the distant hum of music. It was enchanting and intoxicating, and against my better judgment, I let myself enjoy it. We stopped at a riverside bookstall, where I ran my fingers over the spines of old French novels, their pages yellowed with time. Dominic picked one up, flipping through it before handing it to me.

The Billionaire's Little Pet

The Billionaire's Little Pet

The locker room was a whirlwind of activity, filled with female bartenders adjusting their uniforms and applying last-minute touches to their makeup. The scent of perfume lingered in the air, heavy and cloying. At the center of it all stood Mrs. Gina, her imposing figure commanding the room like a general preparing her troops for battle. "So, ladies," Mrs. Gina began, her sharp eyes scanning the room, "you know the drill. Make sure they keep spending until their pockets are dry. Your job is to serve drinks to your customers and keep serving until they've spent everything."

IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY

IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY

If this was a trap, better one of us fall than both. He'd argued. Of course he'd argued. But in the end, he understood. Some doors only open for one person. The bookstore was called "Between the Pages." A narrow storefront on a quiet street, windows fogged with salt air, a hand-painted sign creaking in the wind. I stood across the street for ten minutes, watching. Trying to see if this was real or another layer of the game. Then I crossed and pushed open the door. --- The bell above the door chimed softly.
