"Did you really not have to kill anyone to gain your power? Like for Necromancers in general, not just you." His question caught me off guard. Why was he stuck on this killing thing? Did they all think we were a bunch of mindless killers? "John, Necromancy isn't something you can buy. It's something we're born with, and I've never heard of a Necromancer taking a life - at least, not outside of the war." He still had that calculating look in his eyes, but our time was up. I watched his dad and the other figures take aim, raising their arms and pointing in our direction.

He began to crawl further into the darkness, feeling the path the voice wanted him to follow. As he crawled, a strange feeling invaded his battered body. He felt as if he were near a fire that caused damage without heat. Again, he felt that he must remember something, but he didn't know what. -"Lord of the Necromancers" Her back arched violently as a thousand stars exploded in her broken mind. The scattered debris fell inward, glowing, incandescent. "I am a Necromancer. I am… the Lord of Necromancers." His mouth was not used to uttering sounds and the words came out hesitantly.

Everything inside me goes cold all over again, the flicker of hope that had been there extinguished. I stare at him, dully, knowing it is not Lucas. But it is Lucas. Lucas’s memories, Lucas’s voice, his face, his hands. He begins to walk away from me, as if disgusted, and despite the shock to my system, my eyes catch some thing from the corner of them. The necromancer is standing on the balcony, holding a black spear which is both thick and heavy. His eyes are gleaming as he looks at Lucas’s back. And then he throws it with a speed that is terrifying.

And in one swift move, he pulled the curtain away – making way for the sunlight to penetrate the dark room of the necromancer. “What is wrong with you, Halfing?” Merlin screamed his lungs out as he stood up abruptly. A deep knot was lodged between his oily and frizzy bushy brows as his albino-red eyes were staring dead at Levi. If a necromancer’s deadly gaze could kill an immortal, Levi the Envious was sure that he was probably dead by now.

He smiles as he watches the head of the clan and everyone around that room dead and bathing with their blood that put him in utmost content. He who sacrifices his very soul and is bound into the chains and clutches of that God. The master of the dead, a necromancer, and an alchemist. He who is supposed to be dead yet is alive and continues to like a cycle of a jellyfish and two. He is greeted as his very creation and façade of an older sister, replies. “As your very wish, master.”

“Say what you came to say.” Varian tilted his head. “The dead want you, brother. They want their Alpha back.” The ground shook. From behind the heirs’ army, the snow split. Bones clawed their way up. Old armor rattled. Wolves with matted fur and glowing red eyes pulled themselves from the earth. Necromancy. On a scale Malric couldn’t have dreamed of. A hundred undead stood between the heirs and the gates. Ryn cursed. “Gods, I hate magic.”

He chose a necromancer over his family. This selfish and deranged man wanted to take my powers for himself. I was already afraid but some thing terrified me more. This necromancer had black magic to bring back dead people, she was definitely going to kill me. I was in fact l was already a dead person. Dead man's blood was already coursing through my blood.
