The Lycan Kings Mate Novels & Stories

He said finally with great effort. “And what makes you think it’s none of my business?” I rose to my feet and walked towards him, Tyler stared up at me with bewildered eyes. “Maybe you don’t seem to realize that the tables have turned, Lycan king. I can crush you with a snap of my finger, I can take that stupid crown you wear as the Alpha King and dispose of any position you hold in your pack.” I said fiercely. “Don’t mess with me.” As I turned my back to him, Liam rose angrily to his feet, and immediately, about ten guards surrounded him, each holding a sword to his throat. I stared at him murderously from the corner of my eyes.

“This isn’t just about being right or wrong; this is about the survival of our people as well. If we continue along this path and allow a wolf to dictate our every move, then what have we been fighting for all these years?” "But to kill her?" Cedric said, his face pale. "That is extreme. If the king finds out—" "Then he will have no choice, but to move on," Rowan interjected. "He will be angry, but eventually he will find a proper mate—a Lycan mate." “You are all fools if you think you can do this without consequences,” Magnus warned. “Greg is not just any king. He is the strongest of us all. If he finds out that we had a hand in harming his mate, he will not show mercy.”

"You see? I'm not bleeding to death because you're here. Only my mate could do that." First, I had come here to rant about my lineage, and now I was learning that I was the King's fated mate. The one who would calm his madness and bear him an heir to replace him. The signs had been there from the very beginning. I thought the Lycan was having another episode, or maybe this was the reaction of the mate bond. We had been told that mate bonds between Lycans were not the same as those between ordinary werewolves. Lycans felt the pain more strongly and were ready to submit to their mates at any point, offering complete protection no matter the cost.

A part of me wanted to ask if he had ever looked at me and seen his daughter, or if he’d only ever seen a piece on a chessboard. My mother gave me a small, encouraging smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes. The music began, and I looked down the aisle. The humans sat on one side of the chapel, and the Lycans on another. Neither group looked happy to be there. Their hatred filled the room like a storm waiting to break. And at the end of the aisle stood my groom. Ronan Osborn, the King of the Lycans. His back was turned toward me. He didn’t look nervous, impatient, or even curious. Instead, he stood there like this was an obligation he had already finished enduring.

It wasn't a nice smile. "You smell like Shadowmoon Pack," he said. "And blood. And rage." His smile widened. "Mostly rage." "Good," I said. My voice came out steady. "I plan to use it." He let out a dark laugh, a sound that should have scared me. "Do you know who I am, little wolf?" "No." "I'm Lycan King. Alpha of the Northern Territories." He took a step closer. "I've killed more wolves than you've probably met. I've destroyed packs that crossed me. People call me a monster."

I know where he is headed with his question. “That is the Prince’s decision to make.” My father comes to my aid again but Beta Karl doesn't seem to be getting it at all and he only presses on. “The next full moon is just a few months away. If the prince does not reject his mate on time and get a new one, he wouldn't be able to succeed you, Alpha Sean. We all know the laws of the pack that governed every Lycan King and Alphas before you. An Alpha or a Lycan King cannot succeed his predecessor without a Luna by his side.” Beta Karl quotes and I set my jaw as he speaks the harsh truth.

I wanted the entire pack to feel it. “I, Oliver, King of the Lycans, accept you, Helena, rogue wolf of the unclaimed territories, as my mate!” Oliver pulled me into his arms and looked deep into my eyes. His one hand on my butt and the other cupping my cheek. His incredibly beautiful blue eyes looking deep into my soul as the world around us disappeared.

Knowing what she had been through made her strong and shine with a different beauty, she was born to be a queen. She wasn’t Derek’s Queen yet. Yes, they had marked each other, but Lycans could still choose a mate even if they find their fated mate. I would not force her to come with me, but I will make damn sure that I try to win her over. I could be a bastard, but I would never take someone else’s mate away from them unless they wanted to come.

I know he was right, there wouldn’t be anything between us. “Remember Silas, the pack needs a Luna,” I replied flatly. “And I haven’t found my mate. I doubt if I would ever find her. Our contract marriage will get rid of the rumors but nobody has to know it’s a contract wedding.” “Why do I feel like there’s more to it, Alpha?” Silas narrowed his gaze at me, I looked away from him and tapped my lithe fingers on the table saying nothing. “This isn’t just about the rumor going around the pack that you are impotent, It’s not going to end well, Alpha. She’s the Alpha King’s daughter.”

“Alpha Lucian came here for me! He’s willing to declare war on the Lycan Territory because his mate was imprisoned!” I tightened my arms around my mother. “He didn’t care about the consequences or how many warriors stood in his way. The moment he learned his mate was in danger, he came for her!” My eyes burned as I stared at my father. “That’s what a mate is supposed to do!” My voice trembled with anger. “You’re the Lycan King; you rule this entire territory! You have thousands of warriors willing to die for you, yet you couldn’t even protect your own mate!”
