The Lycan Kings Mate Novels & Stories

I obeyed without hesitation. He studied me for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, with a slight nod, he turned to his warriors and ordered, “Leave us.” The warriors exchanged glances but obeyed without question, filing out of the room until we were alone. The silence that followed was heavy, charged with unspoken tension. The Lycan King leaned forward, his gaze never leaving mine. “You are my mate,” he said bluntly, his words hitting me like a physical blow. “I am not going to deny that. But I want you to keep it a secret. For now. Is that clear?”

It was as if our souls recognized each other, longing to merge into one. As silence enveloped us, I struggled to comprehend the enormity of his words. Mate. The word held a weight I couldn't ignore. I knew that accepting this bond would plunge me into a world of uncertainty and danger, but I couldn't deny the magnetic pull between us. In that moment, I surrendered to the unspoken promise and the unbreakable bond that united us. I knew that my life would never be the same again. The Lycan King sees me as his mate, remaining to claim me. And I would embrace the destiny that awaited us, braving the challenges and embracing the passion that came with our connection.

Instead, he seemed completely unconcerned. He stood up and came over to me and put his hands on my shoulders. "Son, listen to me. One of the requirements of being a Lycan king is to have a mate," he explained. "Malory is a suitable match for you, she's one of us." I shook my head, unable to believe what I was hearing. "But I already have Clarissa," I snapped. "I love her." "Clarissa is not one of us," my father said firmly. "She can never be your mate."

This is definitely the most correct decision you have ever made. "Are you all crazy?" My father whispered angrily, "Do you think the Prince of Lyon will give up his partner?" Leon Logan is the one cursed by the witch, and only a mate can save him! Wherever we hid, the Prince of Lyons would send after us. Even the entire Moore family would be implicated! I ask you two women to think carefully about the consequences before deciding!"

And he's a Lycan king. 'I am a billionaire and don't need a king for a husband.' 'Mate. That's what we call him. And it was deeper than a human's husband.' Masha said, 'Whatever!' I told her, and she kept herself hidden again at the back of my mind. She's not angry at me but because I didn't want to submit to our mate. Clover had suffered too much from her mate and me, with my boyfriend, Mike. There's no way I will let another man destroy me. Not until I took my revenge on those leeches and settled everything with them once and for all.

Infact, there wouldn't have been less than eight Lycan kings in the hall, each surrounded by his own Alphas' Dane had twelve of them, the largest any Lycan king ever had. The smallest Lycan king ruled over three, the minimum. “Mike arrived right then in the company of a lady, obviously the lady he was to take as his new mate. She turned towards me, a soft greeting ringing from her lips. Her eyes told a different story entirely. The hate in them was quite visible. Goodness knows what Mike must have told her. “Long Live the Lycan king,” He hailed as they both approached us. Dane grunted. That was the best response he could give. I threw my face away as well, the sight of him irritating me.

She pointed to me. I scoffed. “I don’t want your sloppy seconds, Shannon. Even if he was my mate, and I am not saying he is. It would be a cold day in hell before I accepted him as a mate. I would take the Lycan King over Brandon.” I threw my head back and laughed when she gasped. The Lycan king was the bogeyman of all wolves. The last Lycan to exist and one who lives in the wild. It’s said the only wolves that ever see his face are the council that oversees the packs.

Lycans can only breed with their mates, and if he finds out, if he gets a whiff that I’m indeed his mate, he would fight heavens and earth for me because I was the hope of his heritage, his lineage. But it seemed like he had already lost hope of finding with his mate, seeing as he had adopted Ryker. Ryker dreams of the throne, as it’s supposed to be passed to him. The Lycan king is tired of power, as Lycans never die. Being the last Lycan royal, he held quite a lot of power, and he would have even more power with his mate. Me I watched Ryker take a drink as he glared out at the horizon, and I prayed the alpha king wouldn’t return. I prayed I would never see him again; I hoped he would never

Why save me when he wanted to pull out this card on me as soon as I woke up? “I, Kael Draven, Lycan Prince of the Obsidian Throne, reject you, Maya Blackthorn, as my mate, now and for eternity.” The combination of my name on his lips, followed by my surname, was a gut punch of the worst betrayal. “I, Maya Blackthorn, accept your rejection.”

I silently nodded while taking in all this information before something crossed my mind. “Who’s the Lycan king now?” “Me.” He replied, there was a proud ring to his voice as he added, “I’m the Lycan king.” I bit my lower lip to hold in the giggles trying to escape but it was in vain. “You are the king?” I asked, unable to stop giggling until I heard his response. “If you weren’t my mate, you would be buried six feet under the ground by now for mocking my rank in the pack.” He declared coldly. His voice took on vibrancy with the anger he must have felt.
