A GAME OF LIES

A GAME OF LIES

Amira and Nathan again, entangled in a bed that wasn’t theirs, half-naked and smiling as if they belonged together. He scrolled, refusing to believe what he was seeing. Until emails popped up, screenshots of exchanges between her account and Nathan’s. Nathan: ‘We’ll get him where it hurts.’ Amira: ‘He’ll never see it coming.’ Nathan: ‘Just keep stringing him along, and soon DE VITALIO INDUSTRIES is ours.’ And then the one that broke him: Amira: ‘Tonight, I’ll tell him how much I love him and want us to be together forever but the arrogant fool will never know it’s a lie.’

The Luna Choosing Game

The Luna Choosing Game

This date was more for the public, then each other. “Piper, welcome.” Julian stood up. He motioned toward the empty seat. I walked over to it and sat down. Julian produced a deck of cards. “Ready to play a game?” he asked us. I lifted a brow. Seeing my expression, his smirk grew wider. “I propose a game of wits and edge. A game of lying.” “Lying?” said one of the girls. “Mmhmm. One person puts down a card face up. Others will take turns placing down cards of the same suit, facedown. If anyone else thinks they are lying, you call them out.”

I hope Piper is shown stronger in the next plotline. Portrayed as someone worthy of the Luna title. Taking down the underground, as the Luna, with her love and the King on her side should be exciting. Love kickass female leads. Finally the story is moving forward.

can someone just let me know if Piper gets it back? I don't want to spoil the story for anyone starting so I am hoping to keep the comment generic, but honestly this felt drawn out and slow paced from the beggining and seeing it has over 600 chapts I will drop it. there isn't enough plot for this.

Love in lies

Love in lies

I said, trying to sound as calm as possible, but my voice still came out harsh. She froze, looking up at me from the doorway. "Yes?" "Where were you thiz morning t?" She blinked, then stepped in. "I was home. I went to bed early. You know that." "Really?" I raised the remote in my hand and clicked play. She stared at the screen. Her face was drained of color. I watched the exact moment the lie died in her throat. She didn’t say anything for a long time. "Why did you lie to me?" I asked quietly.

Breathlessly, I pulled him closer, holding his teary face as I slowly whispered, “Please… please just say you’re lying. That’s all I want to hear, that’s all I need to hear, Nathaniel…” More tears slipped through his eyes, shattering my heart as he shook his head. “I’m not lying.” “No… you’re lying, okay? You have to be lying.” Inhaling harshly, I wiped his tears away. “You said you loved me, remember? You said we were forever, and we would build a future together, and have kids, and… and love each other for eternity.” “Those were your words, not mine, Nikolai… It was a game.”

THE SCHEME

THE SCHEME

Sandera
She has no idea what's going on in Mal's head, but for her, Mal’s answer is more important, and that game might answer their question. “It was called, two truths and one lie. It was simple, we just need to tell two truths and one lie about us, and we need to find what is the lie.” Her friends are at a loss for words. The whole situation is a mess, still all Mal wants to do is to play a game. “Okay fine, I’ll go first.” Mal speak like its nothing for her. “First, I got this place as a gift.” Just like Rose thinks, this game is Mal’s way of explaining herself. She is the type of person who loves this kind of fun.

Lies Have Consequences

Lies Have Consequences

"Eve, who are you trying to fool? Other people might not know how you live, but I do. You wear the same few outfits over and over, and you always order the cheapest food in the cafeteria. Last month, you spent forever calculating how to save five dollars on your phone bill. At least Viola doesn't pretend to be someone she isn't. What do you have?" He spread his hands, his voice dripping with contempt. "No matter what designer purses you have, they are all imitations anyway. Aren't you ashamed to use someone else's handout to humiliate Viola?" I could hear the low chuckles from all around me as pain rose in my chest. Last month was Aaron's birthday. I saw a post about a limited-edition game c

Letters And Lies

Letters And Lies

The thought made my stomach twist in a way I didn’t want to examine too closely. As I turned the corner toward my locker, I noticed a big crowd gathered in front of the notice board. People were talking excitedly, pointing at a new poster. I slowed down and moved closer to see what everyone was looking at. The poster was colorful and bold: **“NEVER KISS AND TELL”** **Valentine’s Special Game** Blindfolded kissing line. Kiss the boy your instincts tell you is the one. No names. No talking. Just lips and fate.

A Lie That Ruined Me

A Lie That Ruined Me

The vibing continued, including the loud noise the music was creating until Mia lifted her hand up; she was visibly drunk. “This is no fun," she declared loudly, leaning back in her seat. “Why don't we play a game?" She said, and a few people cheered. “What kind of games" someone asked. “Relationship game!" Another voice suggested, from the crowd. “Hmmm.. that's a good one," Mia said. “Since it's a new section, those who's got boyfriends: claim them, and that gives the singles a chance to mingle. Right?" She said and laughter spread.

she said in her sugary voice. Macie shouldered past me on her way out, sending me sprawling to the floor. I crashed down, tears streaming uncontrollably. Adrian loomed over me, tilting my face up to his. "Liliana, this little scene? It's nothing compared to the hell I went through. Remember the divorce papers I got in jail?" I was drowning in tears, but I had to try one more time. "Adrian, I swear I didn't know about those papers. It was my mother—"

Hating Alpha Pedro.

Hating Alpha Pedro.

Pelumi
He better lie and lie very well. “Did you forget, Li?” He asks. “The girl told you she is a chess prodigy who met me because she came to my pack to play a game.” Lia threw me a look that says—‘they are really going to do this right here?’ I shrug. They chose to do it with an audience so; so be it. If that is what they want, they will get it and pulling my mind block down for a second, I told Lia not to put her big fat mouth in it. I put the mind block back up as soon as I saw that Lia was about to ask a question. Can’t let her know shit because she won’t let me rest.
