Her mother looked at Lorrie in genuine, stunned speechlessness. The First King, however, threw his head back and began to laugh—a loud, booming sound of dark victory. "PERFECT! BEAUTIFUL! You finally embraced the true darkness required to wear the crown! You are the Mafia Queen!" "I am his wife," Lorrie growled, pointing a golden hand at the King. I raised a brow at her and smirked. "We're the knight Ryder's darling. I let out a groan, almost slamming my head against a wall. But I didn't miss the look in his eyes, I wasn't the only one who felt this way. I could tell that the subtle searching I was doing quite obviously wouldn't work. I needed information strong enough to bring the mafia king to his knees along with his entire empire. And the only way I could get such information was from him himself. I needed to seduce him and make him fall for me. Or at least trust me enough to give me the information I wanted. My gaze fell on the mirror and I slowly pushed my robe to aside.

“Camila…” She rose up on her toes, her hand sliding to the back of my neck. “Stop thinking about her,” she whispered. “Stop letting her poison your mind.” And then her lips were on mine. The man with the broken nose said while holding it. Asher's eyes roamed over toward Mark. He didn't say anything, just turned on his heel and walked out the back door, his men following behind with scowls on their faces.

I shift focus over to Alessandro, who's wearing a grin. I raise my forehead at him and he shrugs while saying, "I'm the Mafia King, you're the Mafia's Queen and Daisy is the Mafia's Princess. I wouldn't make them show up in anything less." I roll my eyes slowly at him, then direct my concentration toward Nat, who's strolling to Luca. "Roll your eyes that way at me once more and I'll deal with you this instant." He says crushing my butt playfully. His action startles me a bit and I elbow him as he laughs and leads me and Daisy to the limo, his hand still on my butt.
