The Bad Gentleman
Christian says and I don’t hear the rest of the exchange because they’re speaking in their normal voices, and shortly after, Christian turns away, walking towards the car.
Salvatore is speechless, but his anger is evident, alive, and calculating. Despite that, Christian latches the safety of his gun and tucks it into his pants, not bothering to turn around to see the work of his hands. His strides are long and purposeful as he approaches our car, opens the door, and enters.
“Let’s go,” He orders the driver, and the car comes to life.

“Feeling any better?” Christian asks when we arrive at his mansion, however, we’re still seated in the car. I turn on my theatre-worthy performance despite
